Same bug for me…
Happened on several characters, and while that mount bug is happening, the game is in a weird state where quests are also bugged, no quests are added to my log so I can’t really level properly… This is really frustrating :frowning:

Disabling all addons doesn’t fix the issue, nor does it prevent it from happening.

I am having the same issues. I have disabled all my add-ons and the problem still happens. Some days it will happen 6 times, some days only one.

Been experiencing it for a while. I wonder if it’s phasing related. Happens during the war invasions, and has been happening in the ghost lands for me. Logging in/out fixes it.

Experiencing the exact same thing. It’s frustrating. It’s happening mostly in BFA areas. Relogging is helping, but it’s very temporary. My combo points will max out but I can’t use anything else except mutilate. Mount is invisible, quests are bugging; they’ll either be accepted and have the questgiver still with the exclamation point or they won’t appear on my map. I’m also combat locked sometimes.

This happened to me near Azsuna a few days ago. My DH would do the mount flourish and then run at mount speed like he was pretending to ride a horse. I thought it was funny but I was also finishing for the day. It hasn’t happened since or to any other character.

yep its been happening to me as well. can’t generate any chi when it occurs either. reload or relog usually fixes it but not today. it happened in voldun and the only way it was fixed was by hearthing out of there.

I have zero issues on two alliance toons (rogue/paladin), and my horde rogue… but my horde paladin is the only one that is occurs to.

The only pattern I’ve seen is it seems to hit my paladin during assaults, but even that I’m not 100% sure on.

Came here just after having the same sorts of problems. The mount not showing up is one thing, but the game also stops properly tracking my combo points. I can only use finishing moves at the beginning of combat; no amount of Backstabbing increases my combo points until I’m out of combat. Shadow Dance also doesn’t work properly in this state.

Relogging sort of works to fix this for me; this time, I had to relog twice instead of once.

Add another victim. As another Pally mentioned, holy power adders do not provide holy power in combat…except for Wake of Ashes.

Hearthing always seems to fix it for me.

Experienced this two nights in a row, both times on my death knight. Never experienced before then, but pretty sure yesterday was the first time I logged in on my dk since 8.1 hit.

I’ve been completely killing the game to fix it :confused:

Edit: Relogging also appears to fix it for me.

I want to add to this that with my druid, when I shift forms, I will stay in the form I was in and not shift but my buff bar will show that I am in tree form or w/e I shifted too. I have screenshots but hell if I know how to post em. Druid is unplayable in this scenario.

The invisible mount bug happened to me for the first time tonight on my demon hunter while leveling in Nazmir.

At the same time the invisible mount bug was happening, I also experienced the death/ghost bug (released but stuck in ghost form, was not able to use abilities but was attacked by nearby NPCs in a stupid cycle of death). I’m not sure if the two are related somehow, but it was a very frustrating experience. I had to relog multiple times for both bugs to cease.

Also happening to me. As others have said, this bug turns your mount invisible, breaks auto-dismount when trying to interact with things or use abilities and also seems to prevent building up Chi during combat. I’m able to reproduce this bug every time I try it by going to the south area of Nazmir and crossing the border from Nazmir into Zuldazar in the area “The Rootway Collapse”. Relogging fixes the issue, but it does require the full 20 second relog. Just closing and reopening the client alone will not fix this bug.

Having the same problem as described above. Has anyone found any blue post about this issue saying if they are going to include something in the maintenance tomorrow?

Also experienced this leveling my demon hunter in Nazmir. Reload did not solve the issue, but a complete relog did work. Pretty frustrating as it was happening in between quests along with having me stuck in combat.

I’m experiencing this mount bug as well. It makes game play unnecessarily annoying. I wonder why it’s happening. Hopefully Blizzard fixes it soon rather than making it a feature of 8.2. :wink:

Same issues as above with the invisible mounts/ flight path mounts.

I am also experiencing no points when i herb or skin. I have both trained at BFA lvl, but when i skin something it takes like 2 minutes to show up that i got a point. Same with the herbing. Currently questing in Nazmir horde MoonGuard!

Was also on a quest to collect teeth and something from the crocs (its like one of the first few quests in nazmir after you reach the first lil fp area) … well even that wasn’t updating that i was getting those items even though i was clearly looting them!

I tried reloadin, closing ad ons…no change. Now ive shut my game down completely, and came searching on the forums for anything similar.

Well, I reported it Via text chat to the GM’s, he took a solid 10-15 mins to read through all of the posts here, he told me that he sent it to the devs on his side, and also stated when the problem arrives, do use the bug report in game so that the devs can pin point the bug easily and faster!
