Its probably lower since most ppl are just casual w.e players.
But its like 90% of raiders / ppl who care about parsing / world buffs / speed runs buy gold… if not more.

If you were playing in WoD Blizz banned 1 MILLION Accounts…yes 1 Million for Botting. Entire Raid Guilds were gone…think Blizz doesnt mind losing “those” customers. Look at their Financials…WoW is a hobby for Blizz…there main source of revenue is other games.
6 months ban minimum please.

1000 gold is so easy to make when leveling a fresh toon. I was at like 600g when I hit my 60’s and questing got me to 1000. Quest gold is super strong for a fresh 60.

Banning bots the way they do does nothing
I got my epic mount on dec 15th. I was actually surprised how fast i got it compared to 2019 when it took me 2~ months. Getting to mine RTVs basically alone in EPL was free gold. I got really lucky on arcane crystals and blue sapphires though, so ymmv. EPL is also a lot more contested now so it’s probably not as lucrative, but DM is soon so jump runs should be good money. 900g isn’t that much.

Your wrong 900 gold is not a lot for most sweaty players, you should have at the majority of it by the time you hit 60, and if you were a bit lucky on the AH, you might have had enough gold even before 60 since you would have been ahead of the curve, and likely sold greens for a good amount. Even if you vendered pretty much every green you are only probably talking about 10 hours of farming for any class, even a healer, so no epic riding is not hard to get.

Arcanite bars on PvE server were 20g before LHH came out.
The second the pattern was found they shot up to 50-60g.
If you bought a ton and held them, you had a mount no problm. Things like that make gold alllllllllllllllllllllll the time buddy.

It’s about 1300 gold for $100. In about 2 months it’s gonna be a bit over 2k, maybe 2.5k, for $100.

The price of gold is about to plummet with dire maul tribute. That chest alone will print 90% of all the gold in the game after a month.
itll be $10 per 1k a month after tribute.
If they actually cared about gold buying they would nerf the vendor price of the trib items by 99%
