Anybody else seeing their faction dwindle rapidly since p2? I’m on Incendius, it used to be pretty even all things considered. Since p2 Alliance is pretty barren, nobody running dungeons or raids anymore because it’s an hour commitment just getting everybody to the instance with all the corpse camping. This is not PVP. I’m so desperate for ACTUAL competitive PVP I get excited when someone attacks me, and then that excitement is squashed a few seconds later when the rest of their 10 man raid swarm me. Releasing the “honor” system without BG’s is the most questionable decision Blizzard has made in the 15 years I’ve played this game.

I believe it, I’m a pvper, that’s honestly all I care about so I quit when p2 launched and won’t come back till bgs.

Remember all the people saying “#nochanges”? Blame them. Also, you should have rolled pve? I agree though, we’ve seen so many changes already that releasing bgs in p2 would have been fine.

I have definitely noticed a decrease in players on my server. Logged on around noon server time and Ironforge was kinda dead. Very sad.

What are you talking about? Phases are not accurate to content release from Vanilla, they were design choices made by Blizzard for Classic specifically…

My realm is packed.
I haven’t been playing as much lately because I have been busy with real life. I logged on tonight for the first time in about a week. Ironforge was jam packed with players. It was crazy really. Stormwind was packed. The world was alive wherever I went. Definitely isn’t a huge decline on my realm. In fact, there seems to be more people even.
I am on a PvE realm though. Maybe a lot actually did reroll to a PvE from a PvP for a while? No idea, but I do know my server is very much alive and active.

Some are, more than likely, fed up and quit and some % of them are probably just rolling elsewhere.
There has been a pretty steady stream of PvP refugees starting characters on the server I play on (PvE).

Everybody keeps saying “You should have rolled PVE”. I’ve been playing on PVP servers for 15 years, and never before has it been this bad. The game has never actively encouraged honor farming to such a degree before. This is NOT PVP, and if you think it is you’re kidding yourself. I’m honestly not surprised you have this mindset, seeing as you’re Undead and one of the people benefiting from this. At least for now, until you’re sitting in 1 hour queues for WSG because there’s nobody left to play against.

i cant speak for everyone, but i stopped running dungeons when honor was added because i would rather pvp, and i KNOW i am not alone in that. most of the more hardcore players have all their pre-raid BIS and and are just running mc/ony one night a week and pvping the rest of the time.

And it seems to be getting worse and worse.
I rolled an alliance alt because of the imbalance & i wanted a challenge, but it’s gotten to the point where my 45 alliance character, with resurrection sickness, can barely come within 50yds of gadgetzan without getting literally camped by a group of Horde level 60s.
The more desperate the Horde ganking becomes, the more Alliance casuals who will reroll horde or leave, the less Horde will have to fight in wPvP, plus the longer their queues will be.
It’s a lose-lose situation for everyone.
