HUGE BUG: Able to buy level 80 arena gear!

There is a bug that allows you to buy Level 80 Deadly Gladiator Arena gear, despite WOTLK Arena seasons not even being started yet!!

If you had a high enough arena season rating for TBC, for some reason the arena vendor will sell you WOTLK Deadly Gladiator level 80 gear RIGHT NOW!

There are screenshots and videos of a level 80 warrior with Deadly Gladiator Greaves of Triump right now and other gear going around killing people due to exploiting this bug.

Blizzard needs to fix this ASAP.

Arena isn’t even out in WOTLK yet people are having this gear. Crazy how this isn’t fixed!

Arena rating requirements should obviously be fixed though.

No you won’t. Similar things have happened with 0 consequence in tbc.

This happened in TBC and the ban wave was huge I wouldn’t recommend anyone do this

Joobers is right. The chances of you getting in trouble is really low, unfortunately.

Just because 1% or whatever of people can exploit a bug, does not mean that bug is OK to exist.

It is a terrible bug and Blizzard needs to acknowledge it and fix it IMO.

Doubtful. At best they would remove your item and refund you the honor, but I doubt it.

This is the kind of issue you could easily run into with no intention of doing wrong.

Exploit early and often.

Remember pre patch for tbc when bg’s were giving people 10x the amount of honor it should have been?

People capped 75k honor in like 4-5 hours. They fixed the bug pretty fast and those players were not banned and they were able to keep their honor.

I think another one happened when you could buy season 2 pvp items (think it was rings) during season 1. No bans but they removed those items atleast.
