I’ve been putting off leveling a Monk and focusing on doing pet battles. It’s been a nice change of pace

Essentially refusing to log in. My dailies went from 51g down to 9g. Why do them? My battlegrounds went from 5 honor per kill to 0.25 honor per kill, a 25x reduction. They removed the ability to convert justice points to honor so I can’t even dungeon for PvP gear. They removed joyous journeys, the whopping 50% global experience buff, in order up incentivize their outrageous $60 boost.
My main is fully geared, max professions and ready to go. My alt? No point in logging in right now with these changes.

They got rid of JJ, but they also reduced the EXP needed to level. With heirlooms, it’s still almost as fast. And you can get dungeon queues very fast with everyone leveling a Monk.
But I feel ya, end-game content is heavily nerfed during pre-patch D:

Yep. My plan was to level my second rogue 80-85 then just live in BGs during prepatch to get a full set of gear, gem and enchant it and maybe do some dailies for MoP gold in between queues.
Literally no reason to log in for that plan. It’s dead on arrival.
I see they added pet battles but a scuffed version. I have no interest in missing 25% of my 100% hit chance spells. And the power-leveling tricks with explode and the trainer daily quests has also had its experience severely nerfed. I used to be able to bring a pet from about 1 to 17 on my trainer route. Now you don’t even get to 9.
Sitting out pre-patch.
Sadly I buy my WoW sub 12 months at a time. Could’ve saved myself some cash on July if I knew better.

I’ve been going through pet battles, will level up my monk later once I feel I’ve got enough pets leveled/collected for pandaria. Currently sitting at 28 level 25 pets (mostly rare pets which start at level 1) and planning to get probably close to twice as that with many duplicates.
Also getting to setup and use the new mop specs as a lot of changes were made. Getting the alts ready with new glyphs and the right talents.
Also got to do DS with my dk this week as I took a break last week and gargoyle is doing twice as much damage as before so it is nice to see (going as high as a bit more than 1M).

EMFH remains un-nerfed… and I refuse to reroll alliance… In 5 bgs on my warlock so far, 4x involved horde getting spawn camped
Literally… “FAIR”, “FUN”, and “REWARDING” is all pvp needs to thrive in this game, and ZERO of those things are currently present. Frankly it’s kind of impressive how badly they’ve managed to [poop] the bed. 99.25% of the ladder could figure out that human is busted, but blizzard can’t.
I’ll give MoP (and Blizzard) a bit of a chance to get it’s collective [poop] together, and also to see how pvp at cap shapes up on my lock and monk (since I have good memories of both from og mop) but it’s looking more likely to be an easy decision to unsub right now. Clock is ticking.

Gold farming, helping friends level, doing some raids just to mess around with peeps and doing xmog runs.
Can’t really complain but obviously it will start to be dry soon just because there will be less and less to do.

pretty casual, have alts with all the professions itching to skill up
not one is in pre-raid bis or even close and life going forward will be fine.
pre-patch is rather boring tbh
Good overall. Sorta beat my leveling record from OG, still finished in 4 days realtime but had work in the way for a few days this time as well. The buff removal bug was a bit annoying but nothing a bit of forethought and patience couldn’t get by
I’m amused at how there’s either a JP or fragment option for every gear slot except pants

It’s not great for me so far. I used to hit up to 124k dps on pull, now I’m lucky to hit 60-70k. My average DPS has dropped to 1/3-1/2 of what is used to be.

I did the starter area quests on a Pandaren monk for the Retail mount reward, then deleted. I’ve mostly just been running dungeons and BGs, and just messing around, catching up on whatever reps I might want to catch up on.
Pretty chill.
