I have characters on both factions on both servers, thank you. I simply answered someone’s question, RP is dead on MG horde. That simple.
Its rather sad to see someone come into a space, claim to be on both sides and then call roleplay dead on a faction that they actively do not play on because it does not have the massive walk up roleplay scene that alliance does.
You are a negative player, with a negative mindset, spreading baseless lies because it does not fit your narrative. So your opinion is noted, but factually untrue and is meant only to spread lies and dislike of the horde.
Again, unless you are actively over here engaging, then stop speaking for us.
Now that I have fulfilled my daily quota or talking to a brick fuzzy wall, Stripes is on IFC. I gonna keep watching that.
Play on it plenty, not that there’s really any RP outside of guilds. Which is the definition of dead RP on a realm. Because guilds can do RP on any server.
Ironic coming from someone being so negative in response to mentioning facts of RP being dead on a faction, and people like you are why it will stay dead.
Yeah, you and War wolves do that a lot.
Just of the ones on MG that have proven to have very awful attitudes and cliques in like 2-3 guilds with no real RP
Who are you? Mr 9 posts? Clearly by that metric, you don’t even play here.
Ah. Now we see the colors. Keep grinding that axe, friend!
Says the ones with an axe to grind against Alliance RP lmao, all hypocrites or OOC PvPers on MG horde. Not worth it.
I’m going to circle back around to the OP here. We do have a pulse over here on Horde side. I can only give you the information that I see from my own guild, though (I’m one of the GM’s).
Right now, War Wolves has about 70 whole, seperate accounts of people within this guild. At least 2/3’s of those people are very active. Some are active on a daily basis, too. We are busy! We have long term campaigns going on that we follow. This particular one has been going on for the past 9 months. We offer battle, puzzle, and social events. Usually these events happen 2 to 3 times a week.
No, you won’t find our guild members doing a whole lot of walk up RP, as the adults in this guild are all professionals in life, have careers and families to care for. Our guild offers a place for them to just hold a few hours every week for some creative writing with others.
We also get involved with some of the other guilds on Horde side, and sometimes Alliance, too. We’ve been involved with Conquest, THV, and a few of the specific guilds we interact with would be The Stormwind Army, Undercity Nexus, The Stormtalon Tribe. We have an upcoming campaign with The Shanari, as well. I will also state, that each and every one of these guilds hold quality people within their makeshift walls and I would suggest you get to know any number of them to get involved.
I know this seemed more of a guild ad to grow a roster, but this is how I can give you a bit of an inkling of what goes on over here. I will say that if you decide to join MG Horde, definitely come seek any one of the guilds over here out!
‘daily’ ‘few hours every week’. lol, like I said… a whole 40-50 people that can’t often make it to one event, with turnout usually being closer to 5-10.
Welp, I think thats enough for today, this has turned into obvious baiting from someone who has a problem with the community.
Horde Roleplay, both walk up and event rp are active, thriving and being worked on to be more. If you wish to come help us grow as the new expansion arrives, i would recommend it!
note the ‘walk up’ RP is active (It’s not)
Projection from the hypocrites, imagine that.
That’s ironical considering you’re leader of one of the couple guilds part of the United Horde. Your experience is far to be everyone’s experience.
The United Horde? I am unsure of what community you think you know I am apart of?
The Horde Vanguard is the one I am apart of, and while my experience is far from everyone’s experience. Who are you counting? I would implore you to point out other horde guilds, with active member’s who actively put in effort to bring roleplay the horde community?
Garadkra is one, and I do not see them often. However, War Wolves, Stormtalon, Undercity Nexus, Spearskull, and Even the late Pheonix Legion gave effort and succeeded in bring public roleplay to the community.
To clarify we are talking about “Horde” Roleplay. Not Neutral’s and not alliance. Either respect the separation, because guilds who are neutral who have horde playable character’s have stated multiple times they are “NOT” horde guilds.
Correct I did mistake on the name there.
Aside from the name as well, I am going to point this out. Unless you are active on Horde, as in main it, how can you speak to the state of roleplay?
Having an alt that you sometimes get on is not being active. Having a horde toon does not make you a Horde community roleplayer. Not only this, why are the efforts of my guild, and my community put down by people who know nothing about us?
Have you interacted with us? Have you tried? Or are you coming here to talk poorly about the Vanguard and the guilds within because you have “heard” bad things? I can tell you right now any bad horde player’s or guilds were shunned and pushed away. One of them having gone to WRA.
So again I ask. What reason do you have to come into this forum post and bad talk me, because I have never met you, ever.
I have. I joined the discord for a while. I wanted to join Sunfury Battalion but it honestly is pretty difficult to join it.
It’s not a big deal anymore. I spent a year playing horde and aside from people mocking I was playing horde on MG, and rarely seeing anyone and just PvP’er in Org / Silvermoon that behave like PvP’er in Elwynn, I decided to just give up.
It’s just a lot easier to make connections and find people to play with or RP with over the Alliance. I don’t want to be that person that preach WRA, but it’s also a lot better if you intend being horde.
I left WRA for reasons, I like MG, I’d prefer having all my characters on a single server. However to deny that it’s easy to get around on the Horde side and that it’s recovering, I beg to differ.
Absolutely not. I got respect for the organization and it makes me envious in fact. I’d like to be part of it. Same I’d like to be part of the Grand Alliance. But the reality is a lot of the guilds in both side are difficult to join.
Most people just want to play and chill. Not being under authoritarian banner.
I understand the walk up roleplay appeal, its easy. It allows you to make easy connections, but some issue with that connection is its not always stable, its not always long term and a lot of WRA is like that. They rp with you only in that walk up setting and nothing else.
MG-H lacks an overly active walk up scene, we replace that with community events and quality planned our rp. We try to make walk up rp happen. However the issue with that is Orgrimmar is not a pretty city, and standing around in it all day is crap. I would rather rp in Thunder Bluff and have people come there or what we do now which is rp in zones out in the world.
As I type this, we currently are rping a celebration event for a recent campaign at a popular rp location.
Authoritarian banner? That’s rich. The Horde RP scene might be smaller than Alliance side, but at least there’s alot less cringe. I’ve walked through Stormwind, and the number of Sanlayn, Legion-loyal Man’ari, gnolls…I could compile a list a mile long, yet still would need more paper to write the amount of cringe traipsing through that place. Horde-side might be smaller, sure, but at least there is an actual community there, not thousands walking around, hoping to make some kind of meaningful connection amidst the dredges.
Only cringe I see here is you and your toxic elite rp attitude. You’re not obligated to engage everyone you see.
so toxic elite rp attitude is wanting at least some adherence to lore? Well, your fifteen dollars is your own I suppose. End of the day, Horde rp is thriving, despite the naysayers.
I think it’s crazy when people are out here like “It’s so hard to join a guild.” I mean maybe if your character is lore breaking or like too weird yeah. Like just as much as you’re allowed to do whatever you want with your $15, people who run guilds can also tell you that your character doesn’t fit the vibe with their $15.
Walk up RP favors those who don’t want commitment or just want to bend the lore and be different.
Horde RP is thriving and it may not be thriving in the spaces that you want it to be or in the places that you actively exist, but it doesn’t owe you anything and it doesn’t owe the Alliance community its involvement.
Most RP on the Alliance is just entirely new levels of cringe anyway. Please don’t poison our ecosystem with it.
