If you think about it the DKs and Forsaken broke from the LK control a long time ago .
They could put that because the mindless scourge had been under control for so long the severing of the connection was something they couldn’t handle . Plus knowing Blizz they could always retcon a reason it wouldn’t affect DKs or Forsaken .
They won’t have to spin anything if it’s amazing. Let the work do the talking.
Actually, you are right. I AM playing dumb. However, I kind of get it from their perspective (though even I think it’s a baloney perspective). It’s probably the same reason they’ll probably never have housing (which is something I totally want and feel is feasible to ask for).

Outside of the Mage Tower and expanding dungeon use with Mythic+ and continuing the (stupid IMO) mission tables and bonus objectives introduced in WoD, what loads of content is there?
Everything here are honest questions but I am really interested in answers to the last as folks here assured me Legion was better than WoD (which was why I am still playing the game) and so far that is not my experience.
Lol as much as that would be awesome… They changed women into fruit bowls, you really think they would let us change the sex appeal of our characters in world of wokecraft?
Broken Isles, Argus, all the order halls with unique entrances, tons of old lore relevant characters, 30 some spec specific class questlines that led to some cool weapons with tons of appearances to work towards. Mage tower, yeah you mentioned it but don’t forget how amazing it was. Some beautiful zones. A good story. Good raids. A new version of the best hub city that was PACKED with content. I mean just that alone, the main place people saw people went from stormshield/warspear to legion dalaran. the difference in quality lol.
Edit: just wanted to add that I loved that the artifact questlines took you across azeroth.
Realistically you can say they have already cut a large portion of the content when launching 9.1 Vyraz and helia quest bosses, drust completely forgotten too.
So we will prolly get 9.3 content… in 9.2 lol.
But ya we cant really guess if they will launch or not, blizzard itself doesnt have a consistent roadmap of content to show us.
It…wouldn’t be short would it? It’s the same length as other xpacs unless we are determining xpac length not by the amount of time we are in the xpac but by patch count.
