How would YOU fix the faction "imbalance"?

They’d need to offer this to top guilds, tbh. Entire guilds being able to transfer would be the only way to make this work. I think the best way to make this work would be to make the guild transfer provide a voucher/code; you voucher would only for characters in the Horde guild, and reduces the cost on the transfer to $10 per character. ($30 value per character – 67% discount)

Or to make the faction transfer include up to 2 alts (3 toons moved for the price of 1). ($90 value – 67% discount)

I’d rather they ease up on the faction restrictions for cross-faction play a bit more… but this post was more about transfers.

He said transfer TO the horde and can the Alliance, you know, kinda like there are few/no Alliance greens and blues.
I’ve only seen one Alliance green and that was what, two years ago?

Alright, my ideas:

  1. Disable racials in mythic PvE/mythic+/rated PvP. This would stop any mass rerolls by min/maxers to one race and faction.
  2. Give Alliance High Elves. I’m serious when I say this would help with the population issues.
  3. Stop the devs from cracking jokes about the Alliance. It’s fine when the playerbase does it but not when it’s done by the devs.
  4. Give the Alliance story some conflict and tension. Tension and conflict makes a story interesting.
  5. Give a certain amount of high end raid guilds a one time free faction transfer back to Alliance. The top tier raiding scene right now is horribly unbalanced.

This idea is sound, but only after convincing enough former Alliance-turned-Horde to come back to Alliance like Method.

The only way that is going to happen is to blatantly overpower Alliance racials for a limited time till enough have returned to have close balance. Things like putting EMFH back to what it was for example.

i mean, if they were only there for racials will mean nothing anymore

give free transfers for a while and people will stay where they like.
