No worries. I experienced progressive levels of having fun with it. To be fair, I don’t think I had completed it by the time you had responded.
What forums have you been reading to make you believe this? It’s not just the official forums either, its EVERY forum.
And by the time Phase 6 rolls around, there will barely be a handful of people left parroting “NoChanges”
Yeah except if the add an internal cd say every 2 minutes (realistically 15 compared to classic items of its strengrh) then ferals couldnt have 100% up time (even on bosses who take 3+ minutes (because of weapon swap in battle)
To be fair there are no real comparable consumables because most other consumables don’t grant a ~50% DPS boost while active that scales perfectly with gear on an effect that has no cooldown.
The reason why Ferals are insistent on farming Gnomer is because MCP is so insanely powerful even compared to level 60 consumables.
It’s a ridiculous consumable, so I don’t see it as a problem that farming it is a bit ridiculous.
Give me a potion that increases all Shadow damage I deal by 50% for 30 seconds with 3 charges and no cooldown and I’ll farm whatever low level dungeon you want for it.
Hell, I’d farm RFC for that. Orgrimmar wouldn’t be able to stop me.
Pretty much my point. On the one hand it’s a ridiculously-powerful buff that’s very easy to get, on the other it’s horrible that ferals need it to be competitive.
If it weren’t for the no changers I’d say revamp ferals and get rid of such a crazy item in the first place. But people lose their minds at the thought that might be good changes as well as bad ones…
Instead of treating it like a weapon, treat it like any raiding consumable.
I don’t want to spend hours farming frostmaul giants for +40 AP but I do it. It’s no different.
True… but this weapon has the side effect of making weapon drops exceedingly unexciting because they can’t compete with chained MCPs.
I can think of changes for every class, but I imagine plenty of people would not see them as good changes.
That’s part of the reason why some of us are so against them. That and there is very little trust in Blizzard to make updates to the game that send it in a good direction.
People have seen where changes can lead us, and some of us would rather not risk going there again.
MCP was the only weapon with charges in the entire game. Don’t ruin the uniquity of the weapon and the preservation of vanilla values for the sake of meta.
This thread is an utter waste of time. I seem to recall them saying they were recreating vanilla “warts and all”. Well, here is a wart. Enjoy it.
They are not making changes until classic+. One poster references possible bugs as “changes” and then uses that as justification for wholesale design changes like class re-balancing. There’s a world of difference between a bug and a design change. Class rebalancing isn’t happening. So if feral druids don’t like their class, they have 9 other character slots to try something else.
Oh, I forgot that Furbolgs are level ~30 content with awful gold/hour. My bad.
and what else do you do during your dungeon lockout? farm other things.
It’s just a hoop to jump through, no different than herbing lower level zones for potions.
They aren’t going to. Pointless question.
Nope go get in gnomer and SUFFER.
