It’s reading like you’ll buy a cache on your main, then mail it to your alt and it will create a piece of gear for the spec you open it in. But will it be a random piece?

Additionally, a Bind on Account Conquest cache, will be available for players rated 1600+.
Unchained Equipment Chest for Conquest that contains 1 piece of item level 220 unranked PvP gear. The chest can only be purchased by a character with a 1600 or higher rating in any PvP bracket.
This will be useful if you have a geared character with excess Conquest points to spend as you can mail it to your other characters. Opening this will generate a random, unranked piece of Conquest gear which can be upgraded with Honor to higher ranks if your rating allows. If Blizzard keeps this available during the start of a new season, we may see players funnel all of their alt’s gear onto their main to gear them extremely quickly. Hopefully we see that addressed before it becomes an issue.

yeah it’s 375 conq for the box also so it’ll be pretty good for alts
it’s kinda nice that if you gear an alt through boxes then that alts entire conquest cap you obtain while grinding honor or whatever can be moved to a new alt
so if you wanted more than 1 alt you could just have each new alt kinda fund another

That sounds kinda awesome cause I have 4 decked out toond with 3 or 4000 spare conquest on them. I can straight up almost gear a fresh toon. But also my worry was I don’t see it in patch notes. Unless in blind. Did they scrap it

No idea, I hope not. I only have about 5k conquest on different toons but I’m really looking forward to quick gearing and alt, and the Mage Tower werebear form.

Is this going to fix the game? Probably not. But, I do think this is going to be a pretty good improvement for getting alts into PvP.
What about those that can’t grind conq for one toon 
Just sad they didnt do anything to spend Honor to alts.
My both monks have been honor capped for 2 months now
The problem is honor farm rather than conquest farm.

I think any character you have that is 1600 or higher can buy them for 375 conquest and send them to any alts, or any character. Doesn’t have to be a main.
It never even was put on the PTR, so the first time anyone will see them is on live. So lets hope lol.

It was definitely on PTR, vendor next to the flight master in Oribos.
What a weird place to put it. Also I stand corrected, it’s 1400 rating not 1600 rating.
So if you have 7 alts at 1400 at the start of the season, can you send 2-3 caches each to your main and get blessed by rng and be full conquest first week? 
Pretty sure that is how it works.
