The Jailer is supposed to be on a power level that’s above the Titans, and you’re telling me we just show up to the Sepulcher, and ankle bite him to death?

The trick is to literally never think about the player characters power level

Wearing legendary equipment crafted by the Primus, additionally empowered by the Crown crafted from shards of the lich king’s helm, and an innate link between us and Azeroth, the most powerful thing in lore so far.

We did defeat quite a few titans too, like Aggramar, Eonar etc.
So, what’s your point?
We are actually capable of deleting reality at this point time, story wise, which makes it hard to scale the conflict up.
Which is also why WoW cosmic threats should have ended with Legion, without that cliffhanger sword.
BfA would wrap it all up in a final faction conflict.
We should be in WoW 2, expansion 2, at this point in time.

Argus was the only “true” Titan that we defeated, and that was with the help of some of the most power artifacts in existence, and while being infused with the power of the Titans.
And even then, Argus STILL manages to kill us.

So did Arthas, who was way weaker.
We killed Argus and defeated other 2 Titans.
They are strong, but not gods.
From SL’s “lore”, they (Pantheon of Death) are ALL constructs anyway, and they’ve implied Elune, the one entity referred as an actual god, being sister to the Ardenweald chick, is yet another robot.
This is cannon now. Remember how in the “previously on World of WarCraft” pre-TWW cutscene, nipplelord isn’t mentioned or shown even once? They only talk about Anduin and pretend like they didn’t butcher every other Lore character in existence. Then they vaguely claim we “defeated the threat of the Shadowlands”, without giving any specifics of what said threat wven was, and move onto DF stuff.
Even Blizz knows to avoid the Shadowlands as much as possible, which is both sad and funny to me.

The real question is:
Why after defeating Lich King, deathwing, N’Zoth, Jailer or whatever, champions like us still need to kill pigs and birds in dragon isles to level up?

Some Loa decided that adventurers get resurrected since they are more useful alive than dead.
Now adventurers are insignificant gnats but imagine you are getting swarmed by ants that keep getting free respawns?, you’ll keel over eventually.
