If Eonar dies, you get a repair bill.
Because we were juiced up with the covenants, it wasnt just us…
Nzoth we had the heart and azerite gear.
Argus we had our super weapons.
It’s best to think of Shadowlands as a bad, Covid-fueled nightmare that never actually happened.
There’s also the TeamFourStar angle: power levels are bull.
I said defeat, not kill.
Oh, you mean help her kill the Legion.
Ah, ok.
Easy
Cuz the writers said so.
He foolishly cowered up the source of his power. The left and right nipple.
Gonna mention once again that the recap only covers characters and subjects that are relevant going into TWW because covering characters and subjects that aren’t relevant would be a waste of time. (they also glossed over most of Legion, BfA, and Dragonflight, and nobody serious is going “Well guess this means Gul’dan was never dealt with, Saurfang is still alive, and Wrathion is still MIA”)
Also the Jailer does appear in the Shadowlands part of the recap.
That’s what we do. That’s why this game exists.
We were powered up by all four covenants that we helped over the course of about a year in collecting lost anima. We stole back a bunch of power that the Jailer had been using.
He forgot to plug in and recharge the night before.
Because unlike with BFA and the Vindicaar, the orbital laser of death wasn’t forgotten about. If you win, Azeroth blasts the Jailer with their essence, if you lose, Azeroth is destroyed and all of reality remade. You really only kinda partially beat Zovaal just like with Argus/Sargeras and The Lich King.
You’re only really armored and empowered by the covenants to act as a distraction long enough for Azeroth herself to recover and end the fight.
Describing who did what they did (and why) to put Anduin in his current state, a major character in this expansion, is relevant and not a waste of time, and should have been covered.
Per certain content creators who spoke with internal Blizzard employees, they’re aware of how poor the storytelling in Shadowlands is, and they’re just trying to avoid mentioning it at all going forward, which is most likely why he’s not mentioned in the summary recap, and not because it is not necessary to do.
Which is a shame really, as it only takes one very well received character still at large to really fix the plotholes: Denathrius.
Obviously Sylvanas lied about serving the Jailer willingly, like she has been doing for years at this point if following the overarching plot, and Denathrius set up a scheme where Zovaal is a scapegoat doomed to fail so he could offline Pelagos as another weak Arbiter and take control of the entire Shadowlands for himself.
What is a N’zoth ?
I don’t do halllucinogenics
The power of friendship.
Ever tore your ACL? Let me know how strong you feel after that!
At least its not a Carebear stare.
The Jailier was just benched for the season for torn ACLs, then released as a free agent at the end of shadowlands. Then after his domestic abuse and murder scandal he was let go from the organization. I cant wait for the docu-series on netflix.
