Bump bump bump. This just looks terrible and disrespectful at this point to not even say they are at least looking into it.
Respect to the blizzard dev team I’m sure launching a xpac is stressful but please give us crazy honor again getting a <13 day pre-patch is stressful for players as well we need increased honor gains to gear our alts since the amount of raid lock outs is reduced and questing will be way to crowded on launch to get upgrades from. (sorry my spelling is bad)
Highly appreciate the post OP. But we all know Blizzard HATE being wrong, and unfortunately this won’t see the light of day…

This is a fiasco…
Basing a hotfix on some random player’s piecemeal claims that were easily verifiable to some extend by Blizzard before putting a hotfix through.
The issue is not the current issue with honour.
This is asinine and bodes a very poor handling of future situations. Very sad.
I was redirected to this post from the Twitter link provided. I find this amount of information concerning considering multiple people seem to have pointed out that the information in the OP was invalid due to timing and potentially being a private server. Blizzard what is going on behind the scenes regarding HK calculation compared to actual values in TBC and how was the confirmation reached that it was indeed a bug. If this is all the information you have I find it concerning that such a large decision was made on what appears to be poorly presented evidence. Stop ignoring us too
Anyone who actually played back in the day can tell you that the current rate of earning honor is nowhere near what it was back then. You could get a piece of gear with a good day of queuing before. No way that’s possible now after their fix.
If their fix to the bonus honor component is accurate, there is another component of total honor gained that’s messed up (whether it’s HKs or something else).

I got stuck in a 15 hour server transfer yesterday, so that ruined my plan to grind BGs… Unfortunate, but I’d still be happy if they at least acknowledgedthe proof shown here, rather than the definitely outlandish 10x amount that it apparently was. If still no Blue reply tomorrow, may have to jump on the unsub train.

They just deployed a hotfix (10minutes ago) without any addresses to this.

Where is the immediate knee-jerk reaction hot fix w/ a blue post responding directly to the OP for this 1?? Why were they in such a hurry to over nerf it due to some random posters screen shots?? When this OP put alot more thought and legit proof that they were wrong and we get radio silence from blizzard. Seriously though, blizzard fix this! You are ruining this pre-patch for a ton of people who have been looking forward to it since wow classic was announced 2+ years ago. Actually, this and TBC launch won’t ever happen again and it is a majority of players favorite and best memory in WoW… No respect for your player base or the origin of your own game, no passion left on the WoW dev team, no one at blizzard cares how important and nostalgic this is for long time fans. Come on guys… this is still important to us… please fix it.
