Hi there. My alt is level 60 and I’m trying to unlock BfA world quests for her and cannot figure out what I need to do. She did some quests in BfA at a lower level ( she did 5/7 chapters of Tiragarde Sound story). I need help please.
I turned on “trivial quests” and check with the guards near the main bank in Stormwind and they don’t offer a quest. Neither does the command board.
Checked with ALL the NPC’s in SW castle - no quests
Check all over the harbor - no quests
Check the guard next the 2nd bank - nothing
Went to Boralus via the mage tower portal and the only quest offered in Boralus is the one to start the chain to be able to make Kultiran characters (already did that on Catelan). I even went to Silithus to see if she needed the Heart Of Azeroth and no quests there either.
What am I missing? I just want to be able to do WQ’s in BfA on my alt character.
There appear to be several quests available for you in Boralus, but the one you are interested in should be from the Earthen Guardian, “A Dying World”. The exclamation point should be on your mini-map.
Its working. I had to get her the Heart Of Azeroth, talk to Mother, kill a bunch of stuff, and do all the quests from the ship in Boralus harbor that takes you to the 3 zones for the opposite faction - THEN she can see the BfA world quests!
The tool-tip on the Blizzard website made it sound a lot easier.
This is a pretty old thread but unlocking world quests in BFA is an absolute joke. Shouldn’t be this hard and shouldn’t require reading through 100 different posts. I have some more details to add to anyone still running into this problem.
This is true.
This was doing too much. After doing the “A Dying World” quest and getting the Heart of Azeroth, you only need to go back to Halford Wyrmbane on the boat in Boralus and he will now have a quest to just immediately unlock world quests for you.
Old content does tend to require some research if you aren’t questing through normally, as you would during the expansion. Sorry for the inconvenience though.
That said, if you wish to provide feedback about the game, Kyleconqueso, that would be best directed to our Game Developers by posting in the Quest forum or by using the Submit a Suggestion option found in the in-game menu under Support.
