I recently resubscribed after a few years away and one of my mains is missing.
I’ve attempted to put in a ticket by describing what has happened but I’m just directed to different screens round and round in circles with no way to actually submit a ticket.
Can anyone tell me if there’s another way or am I just missing something?

You can try posting the name, race, server and class here. Sometimes a blue is able to track them down for you 
Depending on how long you’ve been gone, the character might be a lower level (from a level squish), but Blizz doesn’t delete any characters, so they should still be there.
Thanks for the reply. My other characters are 40 with the squish so she would have been too. The thing is, I wouldn’t have deleted her because she was a main, but according to the Armory there is a character with that name a level 10 void Elf with 10.000 achievement points which would be about right for mine.
Can’t understand why just 1 is missing and I have an autenticator so hacking seems unlikely. It’s odd.
The armory character is on the same server as the characters you located?
Often what ends up happening is the character is either on a different server, a different license, or a completely different account all together.
Knowing the character name and server might help a blue track down that account.
Edit to add, you are probably searching through the support articles. But this is an off case, and probably are looping through because there is no general category to find missing characters. Typing in missing characters lead me to this.
If it had been several years, the name may have been released then taken by another account. Your character would still be there but may now be like Lucy1234 instead of Lucy.
With 3 licenses on this Battlenet - and MANY characters - I’d at least need a name to try to start looking, Ogh.

Her name is Elanis - Night Elf Hunter on Khaz’goroth. Hope this helps to track her down.

I’ve just been through all the realms to see if I have any characters there and I don’t see Wyrmrest Accord.
I remember doing a faction change once but not with her and I’ve no recollection of doing a realm transfer ever. If you’re seeing moves then it’s getting even odder.

Make a new character on Wyrnrest - log in - log out.
That should refresh the character list.
Well, well. I think you may have solved it - I’ve looked at the character Ellaya on Wyrmrest and I think you may be right - all her professions and achievements fit but I have no recollection of transferring her. how embarrassing! It was a very long time ago though and I can plead old age.
