There really is no excuse for a pvp alliance member to queue solo. There are so many premade discord’s our there they could join there is no reason not to join one so that’s on them
That’s easy, allow mercenaries. I don’t care what side I end up on, wither fighting for or against the horde, as long as have a fair chance to do something other then the same failed tactic every match unless horde actually listen. Telling people to re-roll as the opposite faction won’t happen. People play the faction they like wither it’s for certain classes race’s or racial’s.
And exactly which faction do you then gain rank standing with?
You can’t kill fellow Horde and gain rank standing among them.
Anyways, blizz isnt doing merc mode in classic, not unless they changed their whole paradigm about classic, and i dont see that happening
I agree that they wouldn’t do it. And if I remember correctly, probably not that you gained rep with your true faction, not your adopted.
If you’re looking for moral victories it only really matters if you got more honor per hour than other Horde fighting in AV. I suppose you probably did, but comparing to their honor gained means nothing.
I know you guys are mad about premades right now, but the truth of the matter AV premades have always been a thing and removing numbers won’t change much. Back during the WoD expansion, it was the opposite problem and there were no numbers then either. It’s just really easy to manipulate the queue system to get the bulk of your group into the same instance.
Since Blizzard didn’t take any action then, they certainly won’t now. Sorry to say, I think this is something you hordies are just going to have to deal with. Given that the frequency with which you go up against a premade is relatively small compared to most of your games, I think you’re going to be ok.
Then WSG queues shorten, won’t be instant for alliance and AV ends as the meta.

Wait. Horde are complaining about Alliance premades? o.O You guys still get 3k honour in 7 minutes. Premades make things difficult for the rest of Alliance but they help Horde. You either win with lots of honour or lose with slightly less honour.
Why it was a part of classic
If anyone said that Horde premades will run rampant in WSG then they were correct.
