How to save WORLD OF WARCRAFT

It is not a surprise that the game is dying, the problem with this is not only the game systems, as these systems can be improved. A great example of this was the BfA necklace which initially felt empty and was enhanced with the essences . The real problem is that 99% of the game is outdated and useless and currently all it can offer is Korthia and the latest raid.

To attract the attention of more active players, I bring you the following ideas:

Events throughout the map of the entire game, which grant rewards that can be purchased such as mounts, pets, gear with an item level of the season and xmog pieces with some type of currency that would be won at the end of the event. These events as well as the M+ would be per season and at the end of a season the items would no longer be obtained. This would bring some of life to all these old zones from past expansions.

These xmogs pieces would have a very special design and would make something special and unique like the legendary cloak in MoP. Also, why limit yourself to just one design? A good example of this is that if you get shoulders with a paladin, they are exclusively for that class and have some visual effect, but that effect changes or changes the color depending if you get them with another class.

Try to make a suggestion without hyperbole next time and I might read it.

Ok so your big innovative revolutionary idea is basically adding world quests to the old zones of the game. Alrite alrite I dig

I like any idea that brings life to the older sections of the game, but if WoW was “dying” as you suggest this wouldn’t save it.

But WoW isn’t “dying”. It doesn’t have WOTLK numbers, that’s true. But that’s not the same thing.

Quests and events that encompass the entire map would definitely be a step in the right direction.

It always bugged me that a lot of really fun zones became ghost towns as soon as the next expansion or content patch dropped.

Not a fan of these systems though. They just feel like busy work to fill the time until the next system is available, rinse and repeat.

Not exciting enough, you just said world quests.

Give us more customization between ghost wolf forms, Druid forms, spell color, and open up transmog restrictions that will save WoW.

World of Warcraft is a sinking ship. You can’t save a sinking ship unless you plug hull breaches and start bailing the water out.

Been saying that for years. They had a good opportunity to make Kalimdor, and Eastern Kingdoms somewhat relevant in Legion, and BFA with invasions, and faction assaults. Could of had a invasion, and assault popup in one of the the those places on occasion. Would of given folks a reason to visit the old zones outside of just for leveling. Heck they made most of the Shadowfail zones useless after leveling through them for the most part by confining assaults to just the Maw this expansion. I mean back in Mop they made the Barrens somewhat relevant with the Darkspear revolution patch. No reason why they couldn’t do the same with some of the other zones in Kalimdor, and EK.

game is good.

You can read about my experience logging onto retail after nearly 10 years. Gorgeous, jaw-dropping zones. Zero players. I’ve outlined similar suggestions on how to return the World of Warcraft to an actual WORLD of Warcraft, and why this reason alone is probably why subscription rates have plummeted.

So um, FF14 fates?

How to Really Save World of Warcraft

Do everything i want. Including giving Fire Mages shoulder mounted photon torpedo launchers. Because it would look cool and then everyone will be happy.

Can you imagine the cries of “time played metrics” if the game wanted you traversing the entire world and old zones?

If it was like FF14, Rift, GW2 or even FO76 it would just be events that happened at specific places. A lot like the legion/BfA invasion quests (escorting a cart or putting down elementals ect) that you could basically drop in and just do if you were in the area.

I agree with you but by stating this you are going to attract every Blizzard shill on the forums.

WoW has been dying since its first expansion in TBC. 15 years later, it is still dying.

yeah that will save it! After a week we are right back to “All they have to officer is Korthia, the lastest raid, and the events that we have all the tmogs for already.”.

Until they figure out why fans don’t like their parasitic systems and how come no one wants to treat them like rock stars anymore, the game will continue to ‘die’.

But that’s nothing new, it’s been ‘dying’ a slow death for a few years now.

Everyone in full nakedness sure would help. Are you still going to stay subbed when it’s like 10 to 60k active and lower. Yet you say wow is dead. Your a perfect example of spoiled brat for 17 yrs.
