Everyone welcome to voice there concerns comments like urs not so much.
One thing I feel the need to point out is… even if the behavior was reportable, Game Masters do not see buffs/debuffs, nor do they see what was equipped at the time of the report–only what’s equipped at the time they take the ticket. They’d have to catch the behavior in real-time, and that’s not feasible in times of high ticket volume like this.
While I don’t disagree that it’s reprehensible behavior to combine the emote with the goggles, trying to enforce any actions against it is not really going to work all that well.
While this is disgusting, I don’t think that suppressing speech is okay. Just block the person and go about your day. I hate when games get censored due to people complaining about others… This might be dirty and it might make you uncomfortable, but you can block people. >.<
Infact, it is okay because you and everyone else agreed to abide to Blizzard’s forum rules.
If they choose to use this posting privilege (not a right) to insult others, that’s on them and they can be reported as such.
Edit: If you meant the ingame action it’s clarified down by Nok’s post
We’re not talking about dancing on a mailbox here. People can walk away from that.
We are talking about inflicting specific and continuous attacks on a particular individual using an object in the game that cannot be reported or ignored.
Makes things 10x more clear. -.-
Yeah… Sounds like an object that needs to be reworked.
