Depends on what you was asking. If you would tell us what the issue was, we can point you in the right direction.

Usually if the ticket have been marked resolved, you submit another ticket.

Most tickets should have the option to re-open them. If it doesn’t, then yes a new ticket will be needed.

Alternatively, you’re welcome to share a little about your issue and we can try to provide some insight (or maybe a more efficient ticket option if there is one).

Since your issue is in regards to Call of Duty and your Activision account, Game Masters will not be able to assist you. You mention that you have already contacted Activision Support, so in this case you will need to wait for their team to respond to you. Blizzard Support is unable to facilitate interactions with Activision Support on your behalf, or make any changes to your Activision/Call of Duty accounts.

I’m a little surprised it doesn’t happen more often.

It comes up a lot, just not here. When you’re partnering with other companies, there’s bound to be some confusion regarding where to find support for specific topics.

For Call of Duty, our support covers purchasing the game from the website and installing the game with the launcher. Anything other than that is handled by Activision Support.
