How to power level Hunter pet after leveling in incursions?

I spent 8 hours farming the rare mob Broken Tooth in Badlands. Best hunter pet in classic as it has a 1 second attack speed.
He is level 37. I powered leveled No Kill incursions and got to 50 in 7 hours. My pet is still 37. It cant hold agro and misses most mobs. I cant get a new pet as Broken Tooth is the best hunter pet. Incursions made things weird. How do you power level your pet???

You can’t. This is a longstanding oversight by Blizzard.

Zul Farrak zombie farm. takes less than an hour to power level the pets up to 50

this right here. this is what i did when i went and got a wolf out of SFK.

just put your pet in a safe place, while you do the AOE zombie farm.
