I’ve done 60 delves so far, all of them at T8 or higher (Aside from the ones which you need to do to unlock the next tier) and I’m not even at rank 4 in the journey.
How do you level it faster?
Just ran a Tier 1 Bountiful Delve and got 0 Delver Journey progress for it. Now I will run a Tier 8 and see if there is any difference.
Edit: I did not get any Delve Journey exp for this either.
Can you just run tier 1 delves over and over? Do the delves have to be Bountiful? Does doing it at higher difficulty give more “Journey exp?”
This system seems so weird to me.
EDIT: You do not get more Delver Exp from running on Tier 11, compared to Tier 8. So, there’s that.

It’s a seasonal journey so I think we just need to keep running the highest bountiful delves possible to fill the bar.
I get 45k experience for Brann each T8 delve and I’ve done over 100 of em. I just unlocked that suave hat toy thing.

They do have to be bountiful. You can power level it by running all four daily bountiful delves on alts if you really want to. It doesn’t provide that much benefit though so I don’t think it’s worth the effort personally.

Supposed to last a while I think. What are we a month and change into the expansion? and we have roughly 4 bars.
You only get Delvers Journey exp from Bountiful delves? What an awful system.
I just want to get to the 9th tier for the bind on account gear to gear alts easier.
So far it seems like it’s a complete waste of a system, at this rate I don’t think I will ever have it unlocked. It’d be easier to just gear the normal way… Yeesh, why does Blizzard always do this…

You get to buy coffer keys with undercoins once you get passed a certain point and the last reward is a huge 50% discount.
Very worth it for delvers

I don’t need Keys though.
I just need the Warbound gear, I am way above the item level that it gives you for delving at this point.

Also this weekend is Darkmoon faire so we can get skill points for professions.
I just need 3 points to max out TWW tailoring.
The weird part is I was only able to buy one set of keys, and then they’re red after that. It’s not per-character and appears to be per warband. I’m not sure if it cycles weekly but I’ll find out tomorrow I guess.
As far as filling the bar goes, I’m almost there at this point. Brann is level 53 now on top of it. Just guessing but probably once he hits 60 the bar will be filled out completely.
So the keys are a 1 time purchase that is account limited?

Whew boy, I don’t know if I’ll get it done. I am jusssst about done the first bar, and Brann made it to level 20 over the weekend. I’ve got a ways to go, but I can only do so many delves in a row, I just get tired of them pretty quick. I’m guessing the people who can do dungeons and raids over and over and over and that enjoy that type of gameplay can muscle through delves faster doing the same thing, but not me, lol. I’ll get there…or I won’t, not stressing it.

Ran a T8 Delve - non bountiful - and it gave 0 progress.
I don’t understand, what am I not doing right?
Is it just a time gated system or something? You can’t actually play the game, and must instead just wait for the game to stop being gated by itself?
It says that “Opening a Heavy Trunk, Bountiful Coffer, or Hidden Trove” will earn progress, and the harder the delve, the more you earn.
However, I have determined that to be a lie, as I have not gained any progress from doing delves today.

Where does it say that? I talked to Brann and asked him about it, and he said that any of the chests will dive exp.
Also, I did the Bountiful ones as well and got 0 progress so who knows.
I’m only doing t8s myself, but the progress for Brann happens out of bountifuls after the boss is killed. If you check the log you get a chunk of xp and that seems to be when the delver’s bar increases as well.
Why? That gear isn’t even that good. Just craft some stuff and then fill out the rest with WQ gear.
Oooh no not Brann exp, Delvers Journey. The goofy “Season Pass” thing they stuck in the game for some reason.
pretty sure that also levels up from bountiful delves. I’m close to the 8th tier or whatever reward (more crystals, woo hoo) and I’ve filled that bar pretty much exclusively with t7-8 bountiful delves across a few alts.
I’m probably 1 maybe 2 left from hitting max for the season. I have run close to 200 bountiful delves across many many alts. I’m not home at the moment to give you and exact number but it’s probably close to that.
