I think the journey progress comes from killing those Zekvir-empowered mobs, which gets awarded when the delve is cleared (as a popup when the boss is defeated). Additionally, bountiful coffers and I believe delver’s bounty chests (the ones that come from maps) give journey progress as well.

Yep, I’m only getting that from bountifuls as well. There does appear to be another xp cap this week that someone mentioned. Need to do another delve to see if I’ve already hit it. Thought I was 53, but I’m actually 52. I am a little over the halfway mark between Hidden Stash and Warbound Equipment Set (last pip) on the journey.

I got 150 from this delve, but non from the other 2 delves. Both of which were bountiful, one was Tier 1, and the other Tier 8.
Going to run one on T11 and see if I get more.
What an utterly terrible systems.
Is it though? I will probably be at max Delve ilvl before I unlock that and I fully expect the progress bar to reset in Season 2. I will still work to unlock appearances and such but not worried about the keys very much.
For what it’s worth, given that T4 and up didn’t open until the season began, I wouldn’t be surprised if T1-3 didn’t give journey progress. They’re the delves meant to be played while leveling after all, so they may be excluded from the level 80 seasonal stuff.
I just double checked and it looks like I’m capped again. Brann xp is locked at 34285 of 293750 (level 52) and Delver’s Journey didn’t move at all on the delve despite clearing it. T8 delve. Bunch of hidden stops in this system and gotchas they don’t communicate at all.

Clearly it is. There are so many things that “aren’t a “big deal”” and then you look at this mountain of “not a big deals” it’s too much too overlook.

Its a slow grind over the course of the season. Progress is gained from bountiful AND using the key at the end.
You got to keep doing the bountiful ones at tier 10 and up killing all Zekvir minions to level it faster - Good luck

There’s kinks to work out still but overall the delves are fantastic and the reward system for them feels great.
Your fixation on getting some garbage gear for your alts is kind of odd. Aren’t those boxes like 560? I took one look at that and dismissed them as completely useless.
I always do every Bountiful one every day. I just want to get to the part where I can buy the warbound loot for alts.
The time it takes to do them on anything about T8 is not worth it. Mobs having 20-40 million health is just absurd and it creates a massive time sink.

I would burn out so hard doing that. I’ve been doing at least 2 Bountiful 8s weekly on 6 toons total but even that is more than I think I should.
Even with what I’m doing I’m still at least 7 bubbles in already. I don’t think it’s the impossible task people are making it out to be. It’s going to happen even for most people that are only running a toon or two through their key (4 or so) delves weekly I bet.
Still easily outstripped by loot from basically anywhere. Those aren’t even slightly worth the cost and work to get them.
Yeah I wouldn’t really recommend it. Don’t see much point. I barely bother doing delves on my only other alt at 80. Way too much to do on my main to keep me occupied.

Honestly if you just did 4 delves weekly on that main you will probably finish it by end of season.

I have seen others say there is a hard stop on Delve progress after 28 Bountifuls per week.
I doubt I will even remain subbed to this expansion that long at this rate.
Can’t complete something in a few play throughs and it’s considered to hard and takes to much time… its supposed to be slow. Working as intended. These delves are a breath of fresh air and while they are not perfect they are definitely a ton of fun and meant to take the entire season unless you absolutely no life it for a few weeks.
