Hi I want to play the only new feature in the new patch and was only able to play it a few times before running out of visions.
How do you get more?
Invasions, mini visions and dailies are the primary sources.

how much do those give, the horrific visions cost 10k and I only have 3.5k right now.
There is a daily in the Vale of Eternal Blossoms that gives 1,000.
7 days = 7,000
Dailies give 50 plus some chests and extras.
Week 1, extra’s to get your cloak to level 5-6, 6 max.
Week 2+, only 1 cloak level (1 vision) per week.
They want to keep you playing EVERY day…if you miss out on one of the 1K dailies you’re essentiall behind and will miss getting 10,000 to be able to buy the vessel to get the Vision (and cloak upgrade) for that week.
It’s a time played metric…and they are exploiting it to the absolute maximum.
Poor game design…if you ask me.

wait but according to that that would mean I would have to wait 7 days to do only 1 more horrific vision.
Daily Events are also a thing to do. 5-6 per zone. These are distinct from the daily quests.

Unfortunately these are 90% of the visions you will get.
Other than that, killing rares, doing dailies (WQs and daily quests) and openning chests will also give you coalescing visions, but each give you between 10~60 visions.
If you kill all rares, loot all chests (both have a daily looting cooldown), do all WQs and all dailies, I think you can earn 1k at max.
wait but that would mean I would have to kill like more than 300 rares to get a single horrific vision, and there arent even that many on the map.
This is inaccurate. you need to double check the sources and frequency they’re available.
You forgot the Black Empire Assaults which are weekly and reward a Vessel.
It’s the 1,000 per day daily that they want you keep logging in for.
1,000 x 7 days = 7,000.
The other 3,000 you get through dailies, chests, rates.
10,000 per week… = 1 vision per week.
Also…have to keep up with Mother’s research to keep moving farther into the visions…so you need the other currency. Keep farming that too.

I already did that, that was part of the only 3 I got to do on patch day and never since

That’s why it’s not really worth it. We are basically locked to 3~4 Horrific Visions per week because Assaults and mini visions are the best way to get Coalescing Visions and they have a weekly reset.
Maybe the new raid will drop some, but I am not sure and also it have a weekly reset.
guys Im asking how I can play more horrific visions, none of you guys are telling me how I can play it cause its the only new feature in the patch and I just want to play that
Someone said there may be another from the 1x per week invasions.
So there is at least another 1…but it’s still tedious and convoluted.
It’s 8k. The first of the week gives 2k. The 2 minor assaults give you 5.5k, meaning you get 19k from that. +1 Vessel from the Major assault, leaving you to earn only 1k through dailies, daily events and mob farming in the Lesser Visions.

You don’t. Unless you wanna do a ridiculous amount of grinding, you gotta wait.
what else new is there to do in the game
