So I have played TWW season 1. Loved it. Came back for season 2. I logged into wow with 6, level 80 characters. Well I did not receive a catalyst charge in the first week. Weird. This week. I still have no catalyst charge on my 6 max level characters. Uh oh.
I did a ton of research. Nothing is really definitive on how to unlock this feature. Wowhead says log in. People in game say idk I just logged in. I do the whole main story of Undermine just in case. No catalyst charge.
I normally don’t ask for help on here for in game issues. If I missed an important quest I really do apologize! Now I really would like those charges for tier for pvp. And I just can’t find an answer. Maybe Blizz can help. Or anyone else for that matter passing by.
Usually at the start of the season, you’ll regen a catalyst recharge once every 2 weeks. It isn’t until later into the season that it would change into weekly recharges.

Do you know how to start it?
Last season I had most classes in full tier from the catalyst charges.
This year I have not received a single charge. All I have done is pvp, and this morning the Undermine Quests.
Have you spoken to the NPC next to the converter and completed his quest with the season’s start? Couldn’t hurt but shouldn’t be necessary, AFAIK.
After that it’s supposed to just be automatic.

Yes the custodian dude currently has no additional quest to give.
Double check you are trying to upgrade S2 gear. It doesn’t show your charges in the window if you’re putting in S1 gear.
