My memory doesn’t work well anymore, but isn’t that how you get down there?
Jump into the middle from one of the two levels in the middle of Oribos?
no that’s doesn’t work, i watched youtube comment said it’s beta, i tried it just landed back to the pad
Weird, not sure what’s happening for you.
I just ported to Oribos on a Mage (not this guy), and went right down into the Maw just now.
go to the 2nd level where the flightmaster is, and jump into the middle

It’s been so long I don’t remember, but I think there was a quest that sends you there.
Maybe you need that quest to successfully drop down?
Have you EVER been down there, on this guy you’re having trouble with?
What were you doing in the Maw, and why do you want to go back?

You have to port down and then jump. And if that doesn’t work, report to Tyrande. Check to see if Sylvanas is busy working on maintenance. Shouldn’t be the case tho since I had a nice picnic with her on V-day just yesterday. 
well I skipped shadowland, after reached 70, i went through the whole intro quests chain into the maw, the got out, reached the oribos, didn’t finish all the quests of course, but i want to go back to maw, to hunt for mounts, but can’t
Somebody with a better memory jump in here, but…
I’m pretty sure we did a good amount of stuff in Shadowlands before being sent down into the Maw.
Also… (you will REALLY NOT like this)… you have to do even more stuff in order to be able to mount up in the Maw.
If nobody comes back with specifics, see if Wowhead has more/better info…

Were you able to pick a covenant to join? If not then I’m guessing you might just have to do the whole SL leveling campaign before you can do anything in the Maw, and that could take hours, although maybe having level 70 gear will make it much quicker

huh? the intro quests started at Maw, I did a bunch of quests to get out of there, get to the bastion, now I want to go back to Maw, but no way, lol, :(((
nope I didn’t join any covenant, I am confused, I just searched on the SL intro quest, that put me in the Maw, then after bunches of quests, finally got out of there, haven’t do quests in any other place…
It’s because they don’t actually send you back into the Maw until some point during the Maldraxxus storyline.
If you want to skip the SL storyline and gain access to the level 60 (i.e. Shadowlands “end game”) version of the Maw with mounts and all that, you can talk to Fatescribe Roh-Tahl in Oribos who should give you the option to enable “Threads of Fate”.
Granted, I do not think this option is available if you have never done the SL storyline before on another character. I think you have to go through all of at least once.

I thought Threads of Fate was removed with DF.
Also if it’s his first character doing Shadowlands then he’ll have to do the campaign. You’ll visit the Maw for some specific story elements, but won’t be able to access it until after Revendreth when you pick a Covenant.

To return to the maw you must join a convent 1st and do their short quest to reopen it up.

Not sure if Threads of Fate is still an option, but I think you may be right about needing to get through the main quest line in Maldraxxus. I did it on a character fairly recently and I remember the Oribos guards making a big deal about you comeback from the Maw a second time, so I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s locked until at least after that quest.

Unless your toon was already parked in threads of fate like two or three of mine are it is gone. She has to do the whole questing campaign all the way to revendreth and facing off with the Sire before she can do anything in the maw. Or even join a covenant.
Threads of Fate has been shut down now for new alts in SL…you must do the intro stuff to one of the covenants in order to get back into the Maw…
