It’s strange people think I’m anti-RDF. I’m not. Just here to help people struggling to make a group! I’ve always made my own group so it’s second nature to me, and I wanna share my tips for success!

Oh I know, I feel the same. People just have their hackles raised for a number of reasons and aren’t thinking objectively.
I hope my guide helps break down how easy it is to make a group with the current tools! I remember making a group where trade chat was the only tool lol fun times

yea i think like that too. like ur options are either A. dont do dungeons and complain or B. at least make an effort to get into a dungeon. and if u get declined u either apply for 1 of the other 20 groups and whisper the leader or u make ur own group. what else are the options? complain on the forums, of course.

Definitely do not miss those days. I hate being still and I stress myself out looking for a group because I am weird and am like “How frequently should I say it.” "What if I do it too frequently and people get mad at me spamming? " or “What if I don’t do it frequently enough and miss my opportunity.” I have issues.

Probably a good call, seems like a few came in ready to fight… which is funny because I don’t really care about RDF I just wanted to show people how easy it is to do today with what we have in game now.

Not gonna read an essay about why you aren’t able to join leveling groups. Bring in RDF so we don’t have to worry about the 50 things OP talked about. Click, wait, done.

Ok. But you’ll be waiting a long time and everyone will be at 80 doing heroics and raids before you’ve gotten past UK.
Instead you could follow 5 simple steps and get your own group together. Only one of these options is productive
Here is a TL;DR just for you. From ‘50 things’ to 4 simple steps:
- Open the LFG Tool - List yourself under the dungeon you’re looking for
- Start inviting other players in the list
- Get 1 Tank, 1 Healer, and 3 DPS
- Have fun clearing your dungeon!

Honestly this is a good summary.
The first 2 bullets are the primary reasons I don’t invite people and I’ve had some people get very upset over whispers after declining them.

Yes exactly, people are very quick to assume the worst. But the truth is, as a healer with a dedicated tank I play with, the DPS competition is steep. I get 30~ messages every time I post, and I can’t pick everyone

I’m not so sure, I couldn’t figure out at first why I was showing up as Tank until I realized I have to set my default in my talent tree.
