Everyone is going to have an idea on how to get 12 millions subs back. Or even how to get WoW back to 2 million.
The world has moved on, and something like 200 million people play Fortnite.
I think more people are in to picking up a game and just playing it, not having a constant gear treadmill.
I think having defined sets of end game gear go a long way towards hitting what people want. I think if I get the sword of a thousand truths and it is BiS then I should not have to also farm one with a socket, or a titanforge or a warforge, or continue to farm it when it is from the previous tier, hoping for a socket or a TF/WF.
The thing I liked about tier sets of old was that they were created to be BiS, they didnât chance upgrade, and each class got a unique look. This gave you something to aim for, something to be excited for, and you felt pleasure in obtaining the full set.
That feeling is gone in BfA, and each patch I just hope that my current trinkets and traits havenât been nerfed in to the ground.
This annoys me more than pretty much anything. Itâs like a guy going to a restaurant and eating his favorite soup. He eats it every day, hundreds⌠no thousands of times. Then one day a new chef comes in and says âbleh, I have a better recipe for this soup!â, and the customer is never happy again.
Actually most of those subs where lost over time, because they left those core game designs. I think a lot would come back if they implemented them again.
I would prefer the standard buy flying with gold for each max character like it was with burning crusade and no leveling gear with azurite for each and every class I play.
Wowâs only way to revive the game was with the movie. And they *ucked it up so bad. It could have been the next Star Wars or Lord of the rings. Wows dying and thatâs okay.
To me, itâs hilarious. You see it time and time again. People respond just to argue and try to make someone else look stupid in an attempt to somehow validate themselves
