How to Fix WoW!

First does it need fixing and if so how would you go about it? Let’s stir this pot into a whirlwind.

cut the time between patches in half.
delete outlaw, make stealth archer spec.
attribute PI to priest.
put a tooltip for people’s logs ingame.

there, fixed

Make leveling more challenging. Leveling is just the easy gatekeeper to real content and I wish the leveling experience before max level was more engaging. This is why people like Classic is because leveling actually means something and has purpose whereas in Retail it does not.

I would add player housing, an industry standard character creator, and convert to a current gen graphics engine.

Imo i think they fixed it by getting rid of SL

The game should be able to assume that you know what your interrupt, defensive(s), and offensive CD(s) are, and that you have at minimum a basic idea of how to use them by the time you’re at cap.

That’d be neat. Like use the leveling dungeons as sort of training grounds to ease you into possible raid mechanics to be used at Endgame.

Microsoft to clear out all the old boring Devs that work on this game !

Doesn’t even have to be dungeons. Allow quest mobs to do damage, Let quest bosses have kicks, deadly avoidable attacks, and be a non-trivial DPS race.

I’m not even sure what the real answer is. Everyone has a different opinion. I’ve seen ideas in similar threads that I though we’re great and I’ve seen ideas that would make me delete the game.

My personal answer, for the health of the game is: I don’t know.

Don’t delete my favorite rogue spec

I can think of a certain demon hunter who used to post here who’d be very mad about having to interrupt in leveling content lmao.

There is no single real answer. this is a topic purely meant for opinions.

People think 50k gold holiday limited-time cosmetics are okay for the game’s health. It reminds me of Overwatch’s holiday shop.

50k is several hours of solid content grinding/dailies/farming, easily days if you are playing casually lol.

The damage done is beyond repair, imo.

Few other games function like this one does, in a bad way.

Too reliant on addons, years of knowledge-creep, current imbalance and meta-chasing, etc.

It’s just hard to play without a ton of guidance and even then, failure is not taken lightly these days in multiplayer games.

Don’t care much about the rest of your suggestion, but this one would just also reduce the content in the patch by half so I don’t see the point.

Do that and you lose tons of casuals which means you lose tons of revenue. Once that massive part of the player base is dead in the water how long before their subscriptions end?

Well, I’m pretty casual and all I want is to not make leveling brain-dead easy and you actually have to think about combat and questing. Especially since rares in Classic-Cataclysm are super easy to kill, even easier than some open-world mobs even.

1.More Dungeons accessible upon their launch not just to the elite mythic lads.
2.Return of Questlines and Content taken out of game such as the MOP Cape Quests, and Scepter Questline to Ahn’Quiraj. Even if there’s no reward. As well, bring back attunement quests, but make them optional.
3. A Cohesive Narrative, But, Something different. An Invasive Species from the other side of Azeroth, moving upon the Horde and Alliance would be a terrific juxtaposition compared to the plot of most expansions. Even more so if they bare different beliefs or more. Maybe Klaxxi-Like beings, or something entirely different!
4. More than 1 raid, bring in a additional mini raid, or more outdoor raid bosses per patch like the old days.
5. Ummm… Chungus

Any increase in leveling and people at the bottom end are going to hit quests they can’t do. Then that’s it, they are dead in the water, unable to get the next quest.

Do you think they will stick around and keep paying their subscription for a game they can’t play?
