How to fix mythic +

  1. Get rid of the squish = make 20’s equal to 10’s now
  2. Make mythic track gear DROP from 20+ (mythic vault from 16+)
  3. Make gilded crests drop from 10+
  4. Make delve Treasure maps drop from m+ 5-9 ++ timed keys (so people have a reason to do lower keys in order to learn them)

5- Fix healers and tanks by making damage less spikey/one shot. Reducing dispel cooldown to 3s, and reducing the amount of one shot mechanics.

One shot mechanics should not be a thing until you are 20+ due to the high damage scaling.

Let healers be able to carry lower key players so they can actually learn before the group falls apart.

Ty you fixed it and agree with all. I agree as a healer it feels bad to heal trivial content just to still fail and while some want dps to fail 1 shots I want my runs to go fast. Let the one shots happen progressively not suddenly abrupt at your door step on a level 1

Yeah, I dunno. There’s no way a current 10 is as hard as the back half of mythic raid, making myth gear infinitely farmable from easier content ain’t it.

1.) Make it easy.

B.) Make the rewards based on how many times you run a dungeon, rather than how hard/high they key is.

Bam, more accessible M+ and more people get those ugly diamond golems.

And it’s grindy so people will still be doing them.

Too few people did below a 10 for those keys to be worth balancing for.

Mythic 10s (or 20s for what you’re referencing) are far too easy for farmable myth track gear. Make it 14s and then sure.

8 s are currently a pretty easy source of gilded crests, no need to lower it further TBH.

Interesting way to try to promote cross-content interaction. I think that would be neat.

Mythic raid will still have cool bis trinkets to use. Have them buff it another way like raid tiers are 3% better or something than catalyst tier

Except raider still use catalyst tier. The rewards from M+ aren’t the problem, and in the past 2 expansions have been better than they ever were before. The group damage intake could use a look, but M+ doesn’t need to be over-rewarding.

For me, personally, the best thing they could do for M+ is cap ilvl at the top of hero track, to make the playing field even, and not require mythic raiders to perpetually farm M+ the entire season.

Mythic track gear from a farmable source? Maybe a chance for each time you clear a dungeon for the week at best.

Mythic raiders are like .00000001% of the community…there are vastly waaaay more people who will do a 10 mythic run then they’ll ever even think about doing mythic raiding. You got like what how many people completing a mythic raid a season? Compare that to the tens of thousands actually trying mythic. It’s like Pvp at this point hardly anyone does it

What if we make it so the only way to get mythic gear to drop is if you time the key, which is much harder than just “completing” the dungeon after timer expires?

I would say “timing” a current 10 is actually equal to mythic raiding when you factor in the amount of time is required to learn each dungeon in order to achieve such success.

Especially since mythic raids get nerfed so hard after the RWF roster fills up that it becomes about as hard as a heroic raid was when the raid is first released.

Or, maybe we get a currency that requires 10 timed dungeons per 1 mythic piece, a la “valor badges” from previous expansions. So you have to time 10 dungeons at current 10 (20+ if they revert the squish) which is much more time invested than raiding.

Maybe even not turn this option on until the RWF roster fills up. Prior to that its mythic vault / heroic drop only.

Once RWF drops 20+ keys start dropping mythic gear as a sort of “catch up mechanic” / “reason to keep playing/ stay subscribed/play alts/male blizzard money instead of quitting until next season”

I would argue that they’re more likely to notice a giant megathread than 100 small ones

What does this have to do with anything I said? My idea heavily favors key runners. Being able to get BiS key gear out of heroic raid makes key pushing a ton more accessible.

If the problem is “not enough tanks or healers” the answer is play a tank or healer, or at the very least don’t berate people for mistakes when they’re learning how to play these roles correctly.
