No it wouldn’t and I can see the issue clear as day after 2 seconds of reading your post. The problem is you would have less tanks and healers. Take myself for example I rushed my 2.5k IO week 2 of the season so no more keys as I have cleared everything to the level. So you would never see me or other players that are ahead of you ever again.
Told you to shoo
Is that why you hiding on alt?
First of all nobody wants to see you
and second of all its you would not see me ever again.
Im not hiding. Profile isn’t locked or hidddn, IO is attached to all my toons so you can visibly see my main and every alt attached. Who’s hiding?
You are, on alt.
Yes the alt with everything achievements, toons, and IO linked. Hiding under a spotlight
Easy ignore.
These are genuinely all bad ideas.
It does none of these things either
This is all terrible.
- Toxicity will be there no matter what. It’s a human issue not a blizzard issue. If you can’t acknowledge this then you shouldn’t be posting on the forums.
- Keys get dropped down, why this is an issue for you I don’t understand. It adds extra incentive to make sure you are somewhat ready for the next key level.
- Tanks and healers will always a forever more be an issue. People who play tanks like to take control of the momentum. Healers like to challenge themselves with any pull the tank throws at them. These two jobs are mindsets.
I wish people like you who think they have a fix would just quit posting.
Toxicity has been around since the dawn of wow. The issue is there is a huge wall between players called being online, so whatever they do you can’t just “punch” them in the face to make some one act right. With consequences being largely removed this environment takes place. Look at face book, re-edit, list goes on.

While telling them to use an addon to track interrupts because YOU can’t use your eyes and your brain?.
You, are the shining beacon of M+ toxicity the forums has been talking about for the best part of 8 years.
Dear Blizzard, this ^ is your fault.
This would breed even more toxic reactions. Not less.
Lol I got yelled at on my BM monk yesterday because I yelled at a shaman for using his elemental on the first boss of Grim Batol… they stupid thing was taunting the boss off me so the melee couldn’t attack it due to him being on the lines where the dragons flew by. Yet, I got “tilted” because I DARE SAY SOMETHING to a DPS because, DPS ARE PERFECT AND DO NO WRONG IN DUNGEONS. They’re the saint saviors of every piece of content of the game even though most don’t have a backbone to even try a healer or a tank and see the crap we go through.
Is that your solution? A physical violence? Peculiar.
My solution eliminates the root cause of the issue, so you dont have to be toxic anymore.
Exactly
Now u got it
The best way to fix the toxicity and lack of healers/tanks is to shift the dungeons responsibility more on the DPS players by making it more focused on damage done and less on survivability.
If Blizzard wants to accomplish this, punishment for failing or not doing mechanics needs to shift away from one shots and towards undispellable CC on the players.
Of course, this comes with its own problems but right now the disparity in the roles is mostly caused by the massive knowledge and skill requirements of the tanks/healers while the DPS get to mostly be on cruise control.
Content that unlocks via rating can’t work with carries being available. And creates more problems than it fixes.
Dps getting 1 shot is a pretty severe dps reduction that makes it less likely to time the key.
That’s the part you aren’t understanding…… people are toxic, that’s not changing.
Back in the day during wrath and before heroics were the end game before raids… people were toxic then.
You can not fix toxicity in the game when it’s not the game that needs improving, it’s humanity that needs improving.
Or simply play a single player game.
None of that addresses tanks. You want a lack of tanks?
- Stop disrespecting tanks
- Let the tank pull and guide
- Pull only when told to
- Know your DPS rotation
- Don’t stand in the bad
Yes and that does apply to higher keys but when you look at the lower keys where it doesn’t one shot and just becomes a huge hit that gets ignored by bad DPS, it just becomes misery for healer players as they (wrongly) receive the blame when the DPS dies.
With undispellable CC there is no room for blame on other players in your group and the healer doesn’t receive the brunt of the responsibility for fixing their mistakes.
