Do you know that you can detect bot using Hunter’s mark?
Just use it on your suspected target if it instant target you, you can be almost sure its a bot.
The bot problem will kill the game since blizzard seems to have a big problem detecting those on their own maybe this could help.

Or they have the target me addon. While I see the point you are trying to make its not an exact. If you leave the door open for a valid excuse then you can’t prove without reasonable doubt and that’s a slippery slope
Hunter’s Mark always did that against players, it’s nothing new and your information is wrong.

Thanks i didn’t knew that, but why it doesn’t do that with legitimate players ?
It should do it against all players.

Using Hunter’s Mark in [PvP] will alert the targeted player to the hunter’s presence, which may or may not be advisable. This can be used to an advantage, however, by making enemies think they are the target of attack rather than an their allies or by tricking them into avoiding the hunter’s location if they think the hunter has stealthed allies nearby.

like when Alterac was the call of arms I tried this on what I assume was bot (because they would not attack me even if I was right in front of them unless I attack them or use hunter’s mark) I just wanted to help fighting the bot issue because its killing all pvp gameplay and make me want to leave the game again… Thanks for your clarification Silika
