Im a nurse practitioner, hiding in my office, using what spare time I have to play a game that actually doesnt cause me stress…started a mythic, then boom…2 week ban for Gold buying. Never bought any gold, I have a top 10 battle pet collection, and I sold some duplicate pets for a hefty chunk awhile ago, been living pretty on that. I cant find where to speak to anyone, I did the appeal, but its just disheartening that after 15 years, they drop the ban hammer when im actually not doing anything wrong for once (turn of phrase from my military days, ive been advised it looks bad, my apologies). Will CS please reach out
The phrasing here is troubling.
Submitting your appeal through tickets is the only method you’ve got open to you. To that too, there aren’t any GMs here on this forum - it’s one for players to help other players. It’s not a means to circumvent the ticketing system. Live chat is for billing issues ONLY. The phone systems went away years ago due to player misuse.
Also, appeals are not for you to plead your case. It is only for a fresh pair of eyes to look over all of the data to ensure no mistakes have been made. You can, however, keep appealing until you’re warned that no more appeals will be heard.
This especially is troubling to me though. I will also point out that your sanction could have been from an action weeks or even months ago. It very rarely is from the time when the player was booted off the system.

Nothing related to account actions can be done over the forums. If you want it to be review, from what it seems it was, then it’s done via the ticket system. The blues here have no power in that regard and take nothing said on here in anyone’s defends about their account actions.
For appeals, you don’t get to speak with anyone to plead your case. They simply look at their logs and determine if a mistake has been made or not. That’s it!
Generally speaking, they don’t tend to specifically state “gold buying” as an account action though. In any event, your only option is to appeal via the ticket system and each appeal will have a separate set of eyes on it. At some point, they’ll advise you that no further appeals will be entertained and that’s the end of it.
