How to complete achievements when no one is running?

I have been trying to find a group or guild to finish the 25m glory achievements with for ages now. It’s not current content so it seems impossible to finish the 25m one but I have the plagued on retail and am just missing the black proto which you can’t get there any more.

Is it worth it to just wait until cata comes out to solo it? I’ve tried everything, the Pagle Discord and classic forums.

I’m 1-3 achivements away in every Glory lmao. Ulduar 25 i’m missing Medium Rare and Crazy cat lady. In 10 Uld only crazy cat.

Naxx10 I’m only missing immortal.
Naxx 25 missing a few.

ICC 10…literally run it like twice on my main. But in 25 we only 2 achieves away. Sindy stacks and blow up vile spirits on LK. So we will get it done eventually.

I will just go back in Cata and do them solo.

At this point, unless you can get your guild to run it, there is no hope.

They could add LFR. That would be a solution.

Or should I direct you to a video that will do the arguing for me?

  1. No iteration of LFR ever allowed those kind of special achievements to be earned
  2. These achievements require coordination, which a randomly put together group is incapable of.

The actual solution is to just allow raids to be done in a cross-realm group. Not an automated queuing system that many players don’t want, need, or will use.

None of your two points are relevant to the issue.

The issue the OP brought up is about finding groups.

You don’t have the facts to know how many players would or wouldn’t want that.

That would be the same as finding random players through automation, you’re just doing it manually.

That would be nice, you could post and find people dedicated to it.

LMAO you are a clown if you think people are doing crazy cat lady in LFR. I mean, I already know you’re a clown, but just LMAO

Randoms can do anything raiders can do.

How you group for content doesn’t matter; what matters is if you know the content or not.

Good luck convincing a group of randoms to do a difficult and out of the ordinary achievement like that LMAO

Getting guildies to coordinate and listen can be a pain, but there are dedicated people who can make it work in a random group. It’s just rough. I am just mind blown that it’s so hard to find a group of overgeared peeps who are willing to do the run xD hate to say it but there is anyone down for anything on Bene I kind of regret transferring for the shorter queue times.

Edit: Talking about cross realm grouping not LFR, but a group we can actually control in classic. It seems we have cross faction grouping so far though?

you are not doing achievement runs in LFR. have you met the LFR palyerbase?

There are three types of LFR players:

1 - I’m here for my badges/bonuses/practice
2 - I’m here because I can’t do real raids (no gear/no guild/no desire to join a static/etc.)
3 - I’m here because everyone on my server knows me and nobody will invite me so I get carried in LFR instead.

It’s funny that so many forget that determination was put in so LFR had a chance to kill bosses. Zoning into a 10 stack was an instant /camp and go do something else. We often went as groups just to stack it for our weekly. Do the metas in LFR? LMAO GOOD LUCK!

Reminder that in LFR (and the dungeon finder) there’s no guarantee everyone in the group even speaks your language.

in my experience, after the 10th stack, when it’s obvious no help is coming, people begin trying and get the kill in 2-3 pulls.

the turnaround on their effort is unbeleivable.

throw some fear wards on the trash skip hunter, send him on his merry way to the tram to do his mimiron skip as per usual. Tricks and misdirect kitties onto him. “yo hey why are there cats on me?” Don’t worry about it, just keep going. Those were simpler times.

Usually LFR has reduced mechanics or outright removes mechanics.

LFR players don’t know every mechanic to the fights because LFR fights are made at a story mode level. In order to know the content, you actually still have to go into the content on not story mode.

I needed to do some dungeon quests as I was leveling in Outland. Average queue is 3-6 hours. No one is leveling. People who are still playing just buy boosts.

None of that is relevant to the discussion.

Nevermind everyone. Dude’s been on a trolling rampage across the forums don’t feed it.

You said, and let me quote it

While in the thread about achievements.

You follow that up with

To which I replied

So no, LFR players generally don’t know the content because of that.

If it’s too hard for you, or

Or even you to understand. Then it’s just the bads showing how bad they are again.
