need to cancel account.
Just go into your account settings and remove your method of payment. Unless you use Paypal then you’ll have to go into that third-party site to ensure you’ve turned off any recurring payments.

Make sure that if you do have a subscription setup too, that it needs to be cancelled. It won’t cancel just from removing your payment methods.

Thanks for this, I didn’t know Paypal had their own recurring system separate from Blizzard’s.
Most welcome! I had to learn from experience so I’m glad to help others not get themselves overdrawn or hit with an unexpected charge when they thought they had just cleared out Blizzard’s side of things.
Also, be sure your auctions and mail are clear. Timers will continue normally, even if you aren’t about.
