How to appeal a post that was removed

I can’t seem to find where I can appeal a post of mine that I created that was removed for trolling, when it was actually a thread trying to spread a little positivity around. Does anyone know where I might be able to appeal this?

Edit: Never mind, Found this link.

You can put in a ticket here:

Just note, that if you weren’t actioned for the thread, then it may have been removed due to the replies devolving into trolling. Sometimes it’s easier to nuke a thread that’s gone south than for the mod-squad to ‘clean it up’.

I’ll just add that it’s pretty rare for them to bring back a thread that’s been removed too, but your certainly welcome to ask

Thanks for the replies. There wasn’t but one comment in there from someone that could have even remotely been considered trolling. The whole thread was talking about the positives of the expansion.

Amazing.

Yeah, it’s under the “Account, App & Shop” section instead of the World of Warcraft area. But it’s still there

Thank you guys again, I just submitted a ticket. That’s amazing that Blizzard deleted a thread that was being positive for once on the forum. I guess that’s how automated systems work though. Have a good evening.

Without having seen the thread, I’m only going on what ‘typically’ ends up getting a thread deleted.

In any event, please do use the link and put in a ticket. There’s no harm in asking!

There’s no automated system for deleting threads. Only a moderator or Support Forum Agent (SFA) can delete a thread. SFAs tend to only do so in the CS forums while the mod squad takes care of the rest of the website mostly.

But nothing about a thread being deleted is “automated”.

Could be because usually you post negatively about everything WoW related, and that post seemed to drip with sarcasm from what iv seen of your post history. That could have been considered trolling if its the thread i saw today.

TBH, it’s not automated, despite what people say. A mod has to active remove a thread.

This isn’t accurate but even if it was the case I find it rather off putting that Blizzard deletes treads applauding the expansion in a sea of complaints. Oh well. Thanks again.

So appeal it then. I’ve given you the link.
