I hope so. They were supposed to be taller and supposed to have slightly altered models. If the playable ones aren’t, then it’s a dead race to me.

I like the male voice. It’s got a cool resonance to it. The female voice just doesn’t match though.

For what it’s worth, I played around with their customizations on the beta (as someone who doesn’t like dwarves at all) and their hair definition is impressive. The amount of detail their hair got vs other races is insane, hopefully other races get that level of quality in the future. If you have access to the beta go see for yourself, it’s like a whole new hair world of quality.

No joke…there is a female dwarf in the capitol city that they decided to give a deeper voice than practically any male npc in the game. I’m talking nearly Deathwing levels of macho-ness.
Not sure if it’s unintended or Blizzard is bending over backwards to infinity to drive home that it’s a trans character or something.
