Yeah i mean maybe they are, but these are also rock people who came from cryofreeze. I don’t personally think its that much weirder to give them strange voices.
That said, the current voicing for thr BT1 isnt good.
I bet they can drink more.

For prespective rl dwarfism is considered up to 5ft, I’m 4’9 so tech my Earthen is taller than me.
The result of cig smoking devs who didn’t spend enough time to get this race “polished” for the release.
They may be short of height, but they are certainly tall in another way. 
Those “flirts” are like something you’d see on children’s valentines day cards. They’re so incredibly PG, it’s off-putting. Also, one of their flirts and jokes share the exact same line, which is really strange.

I was really excited to be able to play a Dwarf on the Horde. This didn’t kill the excitement, but this did bring it down a lot. Cringy flirts and puns… oof. Its cool though, mute fixes it.
I have played Undead for years.
Have you really heard some of ours?
I think some of the Undead ones are alot more cringe than the Earthen.
And also the OG Dwarves ie the males have that one where they even put in the certain booooiiiinnnggg reference to it mimicing a certain groin area.
Can’t lie, I have one undead just to say I have one. I’ve never done anything on it though.
So, to your question, I have not. However, I’m about to find out lol

I have a weird mix of love for Undead and Dwarves, I’d have too much fun if they ever combined the 2.

Yep… They’re pretty rough lol. The one thing I think I can say Undead have going for them atleast BT1, the voice matches really well and the Laugh is perfect imo. The jokes and flirts though, they could use some love lol.
See I love Dwarves. The voice and the lines they have just fit so well.

In general i like the sound of their voices.
And some of the jokes and flirts are alright.
Really hate the granite and rock the boat ones though.
My main issue with earthen is their capes have really bad clipping issues with basically everything.
So if you like wearing capes… XD

I admit, their voice actor is solid. I’m just not a pun guy lol.
Oof. Guess I’m going cape-less on Earthen then lol. Maybe a big enough weapon on the back or a large shield could make up for no cape.
Depending on class, you can go monk mogged to invisible weapon, or rogues with their blades by their sides.
Or just stick with super short cloaks as they dont clip.
Oh and theres an earthen themed backpack that hides weapons.
So theres some options there at least.

Sold. I love the backpacks they added in with DF. Use them on a couple toons and I can definitely find a way to match an Earthen themed backpack.

Oh man, i really like the design of the backpack. Not just a reskin, which is awesome. The Anvil at the bottom is a nice touch 
Only one question, does it come in other colors? I can work with blue, just curious though.
thats the only one right now, but im hoping they add more, because the earthen clothing the player gets access to has more colours used by NPC’s. We just cant get them outselves. So maybe more will get given later.
