How popular are Void Elves?

I see them all the time.

I’m surprised you haven’t noticed.

I wouldn’t be surprised if they gave VE & maybe NE a quest chain that allows them to become HEs in some way.

Would flesh out the VEs a bit, too.

Biggest issue is the idle sniffing noises imo. Thry look cool. They sound bad. I dont like hearing them get hit too : (

I have too many VE alts. I tried to work on other reps, but after finishing the grind for VE, I was drained and just didn’t have the heart to go on.

I very much agree with this. I had a void elf warlock but couldn’t stand the class’s green and orange color scheme clashing with the blue skin tone, so I race changed the warlock and rerolled this void elf hunter. I have similar color issues with my nightborne, too :disappointed:

What? I think you just didn’t find the right outfit. I think the outfit I have goes really well with my demonology spec warlock.

I’d like if that Blizzard could appropriately apply particular aesthetics for class-race combos. Such as with the following -

  • Void Elf Priests getting a passive called ‘Voidlight’ where all ‘Holy’ spells are of a purple / dark hue. Mousing over the passive states ‘The Void has taken a liking to you, granting you powers of untold dreams!’ also thus having the ‘Spirit of Redemption’ to either be a darker-form of a Spirit Healer / Dark Val’kyr (See Eydis Darkbane model for example).
    .
    .
    .
  • Having Lightforged-Draenie Deathknights to be calledDarkforged Draenie Deathknight’ when characters mouse over them, along with darker runes & aesthetics to fit.
    .
    .
    .
  • Having Zandalari Paladin spells show Loa-Visuals instead of the common / other righteous visuals (Personally, having them stick to their own Loa-Empowered Warrior Aesthetic as was originally stated with their announcement).

Personally I feel that would give some appeasement to lore-followers such as myself.

Oh, I mostly meant the colors of the spells and demons. I played destro and had the green imp as my default minion, and I really liked the dreadsteed mount but wasn’t a fan of the orange against my toon’s blue. So now I keep this void elf in a blue-purple-maroon color scheme as a hunter.

I like your outfit, though!

While they are not my main, I have several VE’s. Rogue, Lock, Warrior and Hunter.

My Rogue is 120, others not yet but I’m working on them. I like playing them, they are fun. lol

And Grayphus forgive me but you look muzzled… lol I mean this in a fun way not nasty or negative, just somehow that looks like a muzzle.

Eh Ahem?

I have my void elf mage. Level 90 something now.

I have another void elf (rogue) maybe one day I will level this character as well.

I love void elves.

I love being able to talk to blood elves still (since we came from them).

Void elves rock.

its grape flavored so it must be popular.

I think they’d be even more popular if they had more classes and customisation available.

According to realmpop, they make up 3.7% of the Alliance population, and that’s with the fact they are gated behind a stupid rep grind and lack the classes a lot of people want to play on them, and lack the Lighter Skin Color options some people want. (Not me, but a lot of people have wanted them since they said they were considering it since last BlizzCon)

ONLY counting 120s, they make up 7.4% of the Alliance, the 4th most populated race. Draenei isn’t much further ahead at 8.7%. Only Human and Night Elf have a significant lead.

The vast majority of Night Elves are Demon Hunters and Druids though, the vast majority of Draenei are Paladin and Shaman, and a 1/4th of the Humans are Paladins. None of which Void Elves can be.

Void Elves would easily be closing in on the most populated race of the Alliance if they could be any class, lol. (though only Paladin could make any lick of sense in the lore)

Yes, really.
Now it’s just doubling down on the tears. :crying_cat_face:

I always thought that they should have just given us the regular blood elf model, but with purple eyes to represent the void.

To me, that makes more sense than the blueberry elves we got instead. (I still like void elves though! My ally main is a void elf!)

They’re pretty popular. Best caster race in the game hands down any way you look at it.

It’s a reminder of the days when worgen could only show their teeth all the time.

Today, after the upgrade, I could remove but I’m already used to it.:mask:

You might be able to credit the cut in Blood Elves to ALL allied races combined. Saying that Void Elves are solely responsible for a 50% drop in Blood Elf players would probably be wrong.

If they were Popular enough if they had High Elf Features then maybe the Void Elves can be Popular than other Alliance Races.
