How popular are Void Elves?

They don’t seem to be that popular I thought they would have been.

They are the most popular allied race. At 120, they are~3.5% of the population.

Blood Elves went from 32% of the Horde population to 16%, so popular enough to roughly cut the most popular race in half.

I don’t know if that’s causal though.

They are currently only ~2.3%

Void Elfs are a thing?

They are only outplayed on Alliance at 120 by Humans, Nelves, and Draenai

This was the first AR I got. I stopped playing her soon after launch, because I only think Void Elves should be Shadow Priests (if I have a problem with them it’s that The Void doesn’t seem appropriate to all classes) and at the start of the expansion Spriest was kind of poor. It isn’t bad in benthic though, so I revisited it. They’re a cool race, but as someone who’s logged hundreds of hours on blood elves it wasn’t quite the fresh new thing I thought it would be. Still like the character, but it is just a reskinned BE with different tones and slightly longer hair.

The most successful Allied Race of all at population level 120.

People want high elves and are the most similar to these on the Blue side.

I think it would be even more popular if they could be Blond to give them a High Elf Skin.

This makes sense since the students of the Void in the Rift are normal elves and are not corrupted by the Void.

I rarely see them…who knew /shrug

Its funny because i have seen more Kultirans and lfd lately than void elves.

But realm pop shows void elves as the most popular allied race so :man_shrugging:

They are popular, bit not as easy to get as some other allied races. Nightborne and KT are the most difficult to get in my opinion.

ARs are going to have a harder time sussing out popularity. The unlocking aspect is a real grind, the distance between the rep grind being current and now is long, and despite all reasons to do so, unlocking the Argus questline for those of us who have to go back and do it is a confusing nightmare.

Their population is likely more deflated than it would be if there were no restrictions by a margin wider than other ARs.

Which is funny since Void Elves are more popular than four Alliance core races

Willing to bet that when shadowblands comes out the stats in the first month with put VE’s in 3rd place in terms of “mains” before all the alts start pouring into the numbers.

The Alliance doesn’t have a lot of diversity in body type and it’s a problem they don’t care about. But Velfs is testament to the problem. If you want a normal height, not jacked toon we only have the velfs.

They’re the only outlet we have for the traditional wizard frame. And it took us 14 years to get it?

I think that had more to do with the BE racial being gutted.

No one wants to play short races or worgen.

Blood Elves are actually at 36% of lvl 120 Horde characters
