How popular are Void Elves?

According to what metric? They are only 19.2%. The only think i had close to 36% was looking at all lvl120 paladins.

The worgen thing is (imo) part of the Pandaren problem. When you make goofy walks and cast animations, it’s going to immediately cut out a large party of the problem. Game designers for each seemed to think that whacky was in fashion.

But people play this game for serious escape most times. Being the funny guy in a world of serious people is what I did in high school and college - I don’t want to do it in game too.

Check it again. Realmpop at 120 only has belves at 19.2

Not if you switch to Horde only… which is what the person I was replying to was referring to.

they said it was 32% of Horde population and I corrected them

My bad, i thought we were referring to total for all races.

All good, technically your info was correct too

I think they’re popular, but high elves would’ve been more popular, especially as it would give the Alliance and Elf paladin race which is something I wanted personally.

On Moonguard, you can’t walk two feet in Stormwind without running into yet another rp’er playing the hundredth edgy, “misunderstood”, suffering void elf crying about how the world mistreats them, that you’ve seen that day. They all make me want to hurl my lunch. They make me roll my eyes so hard I get a headache.

I mean…you are playing on Moonguard were 70% of the total pop is Alliance

Well to be fair Worgen are pretty muscular. I think with the revamp the females are fine, and a worgen druid is the closest thing to a main I have. They are also rather tall. I’d say the male at least qualifies as “jacked” though, in both forms. The men don’t look like casters to me, females moreso but that’s true of almost every race I find.

Biggest issue with worgen is the tied customization of human form and worgen form.

Also they looked weird until recently

Yeah I was just able to find an appearance that I appreciated in both forms. It was a compromise though, there are cooler wolf faces but most of them are tied to old woman human faces smh.

At least that’s getting fixed soon. I wonder if worgen’s human form will receive all of the customization options that regular humans will be getting?

I want to say I can’t imagine that but I can

the first time I looked at the char models I was like, well that’s awful, emo elves

Although I currently have no want to make a Void Elf they were a big part of my motivation to play this game. There’s some lovely things you can do that really work with Void tones (warlock purple dress void) or the way heritage looks on warrior classes.

If you’ve been through the baby area for Worgen, you know why. I will never ever roll another worgen, ever.

I love void elves, but they have few customizations options, like all the allied races. Maybe in the next expansion after core races receive more options allied races will get some attention.

Doesnt matter, especially when baby area is option in Shadowlands. The issue is that they looked back and hard to customize for
