How open are you to a new WoW

I wouldn’t play any new game put out by the same devs that make decisions for current WoW. Years & a very loyal, tolerant playerbase has made it easy for them to make this game what they wanted to. Hard pass.

I think they kind of already announced WoW 2 at Blizzcon…

“And we’ve made multiple, mobile, free-to-play Warcraft experiences and they’re now in advanced development based on our franchise’s beloved IP.”
-Bobby K.

They think we do, but we don’t.

The only new thing I would be open to, is a new Wildstar.
But it would appear that NCSoft outright refuses to sell the Wildstar IP, ugh, annoying.

They have declined any kind of offer, even restarting production again in cooperation with them. They are content just letting an otherwise excellent concept die… I hate big cooperations sometimes.

I was thinking that they teased a mobile one. I’m guessing the graphics aren’t going to be that nice. Multiple reasons I wouldn’t be interested in it. One of it looking dated. If it looks like Diablo immortal. I’m not that big of a fan of mobile games to begin with. I know they are trying to reach a bigger audience tho and I commend them. Still when people mentioning a new WoW I was thinking on levels of graphics of new games coming out on the market currently. Not a money grab application to leave all progress behind for subpar graphics. It has to be something worth it to me. Some other people might be interested in it.

I would not be interested in an entirely new WoW2 and would not play it no matter how “modern” its graphics were. I’m too personally invested in the current version of the Retail game (which is really WoW version 9 at this point, something the discontent frequently ignore) to switch to another MMORPG, even one under the Warcraft umbrella.

If currrent WoW was put into indefinite maintenance mode, I’d keep playing it as long as I could even if hardly anyone else did.

No.

Can we please stop asking for WoW 2? It is not going to happen.

Mobile graphics have really come a long way though.
For all the crap I give it, apparently Raid Shadow Legends has pretty great graphics… but I haven’t any interest in most mobile gaming and haven’t tried it.

I’ve got the whole Baldurs Gate 2 series on my phone and that’s enough for me. (incidentally the best $9 I ever spent in my life)

Mobile games still and will always suck though.

Nah , I not investing more time into a new MMO. Atmost I would try them out like I did for FF14

Well it’s a franchise… you should look at other franchises. Rather for movies how Star Wars has evolved over time. Or any other gaming franchise. Was going to use as a reference actually of video games on the market currently

So again if it’s a WoW 2 actually done right. (Not subpar graphics) I would be right on board. Still would be nice to have an added incentive for longterm players. To think that video games don’t have to adapt and evolve overtime… I don’t know what to tell someone at that company if they truly believed that. (Oh and ** shock ** actually have to spend money. This is a triple A company right? You know seems like something Blizzard is hesitant to do because we got cutting of content instead.) Including the Customers… I would imagine it has to come sooner or later. Unless they want the franchise to die out. Again look at the games on the current market.

Only with new writers and the best thing would be to ignore all of WoW.

What company would be licensing the IP from Blizzard to do this?

For any game to be as good as Vanilla-Cata, its going to need to be from a small passionate company where they can do whatever they want, just like the origional bliz dev team.

Its not going to come from a corporate focus group approved, metrics agree with it, board room approved, game for all people.

I just dont think they could if they wanted to, there i said it.

Under current ledership it would be the same hot mess.

If it were new leadership, I would be cautiously optimistic.

Absolutely agreed.

There is no passion in the corporate assigned groups.

All my stuff is here.

I am the Wow 2

I’m very open to another blizzard mmo.

Wow already is wow2.

I’m tired of iterating on the same classes in the same tired world. Need something completely new.
