Wrathion is super young, but I am certainly more interested in how old Kalecgos is. He’s older, but how much older than Wrathion is he?

Wrathion is like 12 Kalec is at least many hundreds of years older.

Kalec is old enough to have a near marriage to Tyragosa. Speaking of whom, DF would be a good time for her redebut.

I would say about 10 to 12 thousand ,the dragons are pretty much older then that.
Nah, he’s not that old. Plus 10 to 12 thousand Years would have put him close to the war of the ancients and the blues decimation.
I have seen it suggests that Sabellian was hatched between 20,000 to 10,000 years ago. And maybe one of the older known dragons.
Kalecgos is a few thousand years old.

He was there when Malagoes dyed and he took over <this was I based it on. So hes older by far than Wrathion by thousands.
Maybe. We honestly don’t know much of Sabellion’s past. I think he is Nefarian and Onyxia’s older brother.
Oldest known regular dragon is Senegos. We don’t know his age, but his visage form suggests at least as far back as the troll empire.
Malygos died in Wrath though. Hell Kalecgos became Aspect about the same time as Wrathion’s birth.
He wasn’t youngling though when he become an aspect ,Wrathion was born in legion not wrath.
I would guess Kal would be a few hundred years old. He was young during BC. Problem is young for a dragon is relative…
Well I seen a neat post that the Aspects weren’t the only proto drakes transformed. So Senegos considering how little the Aspects aged, he himself might be older than Malygos, just not as powerful.

No one said he was a youngling. Just that he’s not 10-12k years old. Youngest he could be is 500 as the books do refer to him as a Wyrm and that’s the cutoff age for that stage.
That’s is quite an appealing compliment to refer to an elder as young,lol.
Dragonflight already proved he’s not 10-12k. The dragons they resurrected and have encountered don’t know him, including Kal’s own ancestors.
Wrathion was born during the Cataclysm, just needed to point that out - Wrathion is the reason why Mists of Pandaria went the way it did, he caused Warlords of Draenor to happen, and as a direct result is responsible for both Legion and Battle for Azeroth in large parts
Heck, we don’t know what caused the Dragon Isles to appear again but Wrathion explicitly stated that he was going off in search for them, so he could’ve been the reason Kurog awoke the Raszageth
So Wrathion may actually be responsible even for Dragonflight as well - we don’t know yet

Of course, 20k years old that’s 8k later ,mg.no one looks at numbers.
I do remember he’s at least over 1000. Other dragons and even non dragon npcs still treat him as kinda young. Heck his appearance so far in Dragonflight has that “I’m a soaking wet stray cat, please adopt me” look which I think is pretty funny / cute.
