The day/night cycle is still there, but unlike games like FFXIV where the cycle is accelerated, WoW’s is still on a 24hr timer and it’s tied to your realm’s region (with the exception of Oceanic, which I think follows PST for some reason). So if you play on a realm in your time zone and play mostly during the same time of day each session, you’ll probably never notice the cycle because it will always be day/night/dawn/dusk for you unless you happen to be playing long enough in the middle of a transition.

The implication of the dialogue choices I made on my Draenei in Shadowlands suggests she was with the group that fled Argus.
This paladin has been around since vanilla which based on the WoW timeline I can find would suggest she’s in her mid-30s assuming she was 18-20 when vanilla started.
Though you can headcanon whatever you want, really.

I always imagined this character starting out way back in classic as a fresh 18-yr old adventurer (like me!). So twenty years, plus the five-year gap between Shadowlands and Dragonflight would make her… in her early forties at least? From what I understand of the timeline for WoW.

UnOfficially speaking, if anduin was a small child for vanilla, and is now in his 30s(?) we are all at least 40-50 since we weren’t child size in vanilla

From what I can find, Anduin was mid-20s in Dragonflight and the wiki suggests that TWW is only 1 year later.
Apparently sitting around in Silithus just makes you look older.

So if Anduin was 10 in vanilla, and let’s just say 25 in tww. Does that mean that Everything that’s happened in Azeroth was all over 10 years?? That little kid had a worse childhood than Gohan.

If we go by the timeline on the wiki it’s 15 years between vanilla and dragonflight but yeah, it’s a pretty rough childhood.
It also suggests he was 13 when Cataclysm happened.
