Report? I think twice since 2009 and it was for serious offenses. Ignore? Never. Ignore is just a greifing tool used to get last word in so people can feel like they are right about something and prevent victim from responding.

Iām constantly reporting those āSELLING M+10!ā bot ads in LFG, other than that though thereās only ever been 1 person Iāve ignored this expack and it was because they had this super annoying addon that would spam whisper you when you fished near them.

Iāve been playing since 2005 and I donāt have anyone on my ignore list. Sometimes I will ignore a player, as a temporary solution, but I will remove them a few days later.

also people with the āi just interrupted a mob so ill tell everyone i didā addon. i hate it and its spam junks it up so much its easy to miss stuff

My feelings arenāt hurt by randoms on the internet. The only time I ignore someone is if theyāre spamming. I often wonder how adults on WoW and the forum can even function irl when theyāre so easily triggered and offended here.

Ignore, almost never. I do use the report spam function just as a temp ignore, it isnāt that Iām trying to actually report the person (i know it takes multiple people to do it), but i sometimes use it when people are trigger happy with guild recruitment or crafting macroās in general chat.
I left trade chat years ago, so i donāt want to be reading that crap in general chat for hours while Iām leveling or whatever.
The vast majority of the āpeopleā on my ignore list are spambots. Thereās a couple stalkers there but thankfully you only get one of them every other expansion or so.
I report racists and flamers on the regular.

I report few people every 45-90 minutes when I play. 99% of the time its in the LFG m+ finder. Advertising their website.

If someone with the name Virus whispered āHelloā to me out of nowhere, I would feel pretty awkward too.
Windows Defender actually recommends blocking the threat.

Iāll only report the most serious issues, like extreme racism, threats to self or others, etc. I almost never permanently ignore people. I can count the ones I have on one hand.
I have zero people ignored on the forums. I expect to see things I disagree with, but hiding it isnāt a solution.
The only people on my Ignore list are people who make suspicious plays in Solo Shuffle. Donāt ever want to play with them again.
