That’s on the forums. I don’t think there’s a trust level in the game chats but is there a limit in the game chats for reporting?
I think I’ve reported people 3 times at most on these forums only, since I began playing in 2011 and all of those were for self harm claims so I’ve never ran out of ability to report or ignore or whatever.
I don’t really use those features, not ingame or on the forums so Idk how it works.

i know people who use the report feature as a proverbial middle finger. IMO the entire system of in game reporting should be dismantled and blizzard forced to hire moderation staff/GMs again, especially given the fact that excessive reports against someone can lead to automated account actions despite people reporting for nothings.
I report people daily (between the scams / political mumbo jumbo) and ignore it’s hit and miss. I don’t do it all that often cause most of the time I forget before reporting something lol

It honestly depends on the circumstances. Someone just going off their rocker on political stuff? They will get an ignore. Someone spouting straight up homophobia or transphobia or just blatant racism? I report them. Light hearted trolling like thunderfury spam? Let it be.
In-game? Rarely, people really aren’t that bad.
On the forums? Often.

Depends, if we are including bots/spammers I report them when I see them.
Other than that I don’t think I’ve ignored/reported anyone.
I find myself using the report feature pretty often now. At least once a week, sometimes more on weeks that I can be logged in more often. People have been insanely out of pocket lately and I am perfectly fine reporting every single person I see doing things they shouldn’t.
Ignore I use a lot less, and I tend to clean my list out pretty often so its almost always empty.
ESPECIALLY the yams.
I log into some alts on an RP realm or two and scan TRPs as I watch /s, /1-/4, and /emote and wait for anybody in my vicinity to slip up and use reportable language or phrases or etc., and immediately right-click → report them. It’s quite cathartic- personal reasons aside- to help stabilize the WoW community in my own way.
If absolutely anyone whispers me in anger or hate or gives me literally any reason to submit their actions/words to Blizzard for approval, I will certainly do so every single time.
Edit: I also right click → report every single inappropriate player name and guild name, given these are RP realms and there are strict naming conventions to be followed.

On the forums, I’ll flag people who do personal attacks and clearly, consistently trolling individuals. Not sure I even see this once a month, but I don’t live on the forums.
In game, I’ll report people genuinely AFK in BGs, or possibly if they seem to be intentionally sabotaging. So maybe a few times a month if I notice AFK leechers. But even then you still need more people to get them booted.

Ignoring I’ll do for anyone who is not worth my time reading. I’m pretty lenient about this though. Lots of people amuse me even if I can tell they’re (harmless) trolls.
Reported many people. But ignore? Never. I have played since 2005 (19 years) and I have never once “put someone on ignore”.
I have had a few go off on my in the past but I just let them rant. At a certain point I just stop reading what they are typing. They never last long. They quickly fizzle out like a lit match dropped in water
What do people report for?
I had a flag that was cleared because I think what probably happened was a certain group of people on a subforum who take themselves and the game too seriously didn’t like an opinion I have and were like, “everyone report this person.”
Do people approve of the above? Grouping up to report opinions you don’t like?
In my case it was always botting or Exploiting. Reported a few speed hackers in Arenas in LK too
I just ignore the topic when its practically spam .If someone is going to make a thread of hard content is hard , easy content is easy , game is dying show graph of 1.8 million M+ run .
I just hit notification bell , mute thread.
