Pretty much since Earthern became a thing and they are neutral race in War Within. How much do you want to bet that High Elves as a Race will be Featured in Midnight but also as a Neutral. I know some people be like heck no! I mean understandable because Void Elves and Blood Elves but seeing as Blizzard is known for creating races that people ether wanted or not or just out of the blue and just made them a neutral race I could see High Elves getting the same treatment as Earthern unless Blizzard does something in Midnight that isnât just more Elven races and we go with new features like Character Customization Options, New Race Heritage Armor Transmog, Reworks of the Void Elves and Blood Elves, and etc.

Maybe they will let both velves and belves pick if they want to be called helves or not. Iâm guessing weâll get broken instead since we should have gotten them in legion but we got velves out of nowhere.

I expect/hope that theyâre zone filler again and really donât want Blizzard to waste two spaces on the character creation menu on a fourth race using the male blood elf skeleton, but as Iâve said before, if theyâre a neutral race and surpass any Alliance core raceâs population like void elves did, then the whole playerbase waives away the right to ever complain about Blizzard being lazy with new races ever again.
Personally, I hope theyâre only featured for like a minute before they get completely folded into Blood and Void Elves. No more ambiguity. No more - âBut this < insert outcast > group!â. Nope. They all either go back home and assume the Blood Elf name, or drink the grape koolaid and become the Void Elves.

I wouldnât bet much. With Belfs and velfs around and velfs allowed to look like belfs, this is getting rather ridiculous.

I hope the opposite. Full fledge customization. Make them Alliance and the Horde can get fel elves.
Hell, Blizzard is literally featuring them again in TWW. Instead of wiping them out with a certain event you can see them kicking and continuing the fight.

Problem is, there is nothing unique or special about a high elf.
Theyre just a blood elf in every single way. Theyre just a void elf when theyre not glowing purple.
Earthen have skin made of stone, hair made of metal wiring, gems sticking out of them, and are taller than normal dwarves.
Theyre actually different to dwarves.
There isnt a single thing they could give high elves which isnt just a customisation that belongs on blood and void elves.
And sure they could try something different to make them not a 100% clone. But they did that already with void elves, and the high elf fans hated it so much they became clones.
So basically, its impossible to give the earthen treatment. Because everything a high elf is, we have.

Midnight is the perfect time to add Wildhammer as an actual Allied Race. Then we can get Frostborn in Last Titan to complete the trifecta.

The only type of elf i want rhem to add is dead elf. No, not undead. Not sanlayn. Dead.
Give them the unique racial: âUnable to move. Unable to use abilities. Unable to talk. Unable to interact with anything. Can be manually moved around by others, but only for one weekendâ
