It’s like saying the Night Elves, Nightborne, and Blood Elves are all one race. Like evolution didn’t happen at all.
Night borne have actually evolved. Azhsaras is the same race as night elves. We have seen her. And let’s pretend your lie is correct and that she is actually a godelf or whatever new race she would digivolve into: she still held absolute authority over the night elves that all – at that time – loved her.
If azshara says “don’t go to hyjal” they do not go to hyjal.

Azshara was born a night elf and did not become a naga until the sundering. She did not cease being a night elf until the sundering. We have seen her model. We have seen her art. We have read about her in books.

Your comment has nothing to do with my point about some alliance players justifying everything team blue does but condemning the horde for doing something similar. You would know that if you actually understood the comment before running here to make things up that no one said. 
You do realize the Highborne were a social class right? They weren’t like an actual different kind of elf. They were just wealthy night elves.

Yes but what a night elf was then is not the same as the night elves we know now. Blood elves were once also Night Elves, but they haven’t been Night Elves for the entire time they’ve been a playable race.
You are arguing semantics 
the Kaldorei resistance became the Night Elves we know as Night Elves today. The majority of the night elves pre-sundering became blood elves, Highborne or Naga.
That’s my point I guess but ya’ll think I’m stupid because I don’t know that they all were once the same empire called the night elves/kaldorei.

They evolved into “High Elves” over the course of ten thousand years after being banished by Malfurion. They were not High Elves when the Night Elf empire was at the height of its power.

Those banished lowborne made their home Mount Hyjal, in the newly grown Nordrassil over the “new well” Illidan tried to create. Now, the discussion has gone full circle into my original point.
The night elves, as we know them now, settled in Mount Hyjal and surrounding areas. Nordrassil is the ancestral home of the Night Elves in their current incarnation as a playable race.
I think even Shadows Rising refers to it as “the ancestral home” of the Night Elves, Ashenvale forest was an extension of Mount Hyjal.
Yes. After Azshara was deposed, which has nothing to do with my points which are:
- In Azshara’s Empire, Azshara refused to allow her Empire to visit Mt Hyjal.
- Because they were allowed to visit Ashenvale when they could not visit Mt Hyjal, Mt Hyjal is not and has never been considered part of Ashenvale.
I don’t even know why you are arguing with me right now. I sald the night elves deserve to reclaim their lands, including Ashenvale and the Horde are the bad guys. Go read what I actually said.
I think you fight with people just to fight with people.
The only thing that determined if someone was a future night/high elf was if they agreed to Malfurion/Tyrande’s arcane ban. Sorcerers played a pretty big role in fighting the Legion in the war, after all.
As far as I’m aware there was nothing to indicate whether someone was an Azshara loyalist or not between the two.
