Medivh . Noted Horde member.
Or do you mean the Archimonde summonings, in which case: Arthas and Kel’thuzad. Noted Horde members.

they had to do it because they were the reason the night elves needed them in the first place…because the orcs killed their connection to the wild gods and killed part of their army…the orcs only cleaned their own mess…
The only thing I’m getting out of this is people like Zahir seem to think that as long as said women, children and men who did nothing wrong, it’s okay to kill all of them via starvation because you know, they’re orcs, who cares right?
I hope that’s not what he’s saying, but it sure looks like he’s okay with it.
Lets not forgot Garrosh did not simply want to get resources to survive, he explicitly wanted resources to make them thrive. He wanted to make a new Horde capital(preferably named after him) smack dab in the middle of Ashenvale.
You mean the lich king Ner’zhul when he crossed over? But at least now you know the night elves trading with the horde was not part of the theramore treaty, it was the humans trading them lumber. Also that the horde were the ones to attack first in every pre-cata source.
I’m not blaming her for everything.
The Cata war started because everyone was an idiot.
Thrall was a moron to put Garrosh in charge.
Tyrande was a moron to basically give the orcs the option of conquest or starvation.
Cairne was a moron to immediately call a mak’gora instead of making sure Garrosh actualy did it.
Garrosh.
Vol’jin was a moron for reasons similar to Cairne.
Varian was a moron for being only slightly more willing to engage in diplomacy than Garrosh.
Yes you did:
Who cares?
The armistice of note is the current one and nelves are not in any way subject to it’s protections.
The night elves should control entire Ashenvale. They should build a wall around it and make the Horde pay for it. And if the Horde want resources from it, they’ll have to help rebuild and repair any damage they did to the forest.
The Horde got off far too easy for what they collectively did. The least they should do is get the hell out of night elven lands and leave the night elves alone. If they want resources, they have Dustwallow, Stonetalon, at least a third of Feralas, Un’goro, Swamp of Sorrows, Silverpine and Tirisfal. They can start farming in Mulgore too, that land is super fertile after all. I’m pretty sure I remember reading about the tauren farming some crops there already.
An armistice is not a peace treaty. It’s an agreement to temporarily halt the killing while a deal FOR a peace treaty can be worked out. It doesn’t technically end the conflict which is why the Korean War is actually still technically going on.
I didn’t say it was, also a peace treaty is not always something that is worked out during an armistice, it was in response to this:
Which was untrue, as the horde were the ones that attacked first, so they would have been in violation of any armistice agreement. I know you like to jump in to make irrelevant points that don’t pertain to the discussion, but you can at least attempt to read the thread before quoting me in a post that is ultimately pointless.
That’s correct. to this date there is no peace treaty between the two Koreas.
If they didn’t, the Orcs woulda died next. Lets not pretend it wasn’t also about self interest. It would’ve caused another war of the ancients, and a few boats worth of orcs werent gonna survive that lol. There’s a reason they listened to Medivh.
More like they listened to Thrall, who listened to the Prophet.
Does the fact that they fought instead of choose to flee anyway not count for anything at all?
Sure, but it doesn’t negate everything else they did. If they weren’t trying to enforce their will on those lands even in Classic and the like.
It’s more that I got confused as to why the orcs fighting to help save the entire world from destruction could be written off as self-interest for them alone instead of that applying to everybody who participated.
If someone is gonna bring it up as a way to say they’re entitled to another peoples lands, then I will point out that their motivation for it in the first place was survival. Same with humans if someone made the same argument for them.
yes and no. The Horde Were fleeing already from the Alliance and weren’t looking for anything but to escape imprisonment make a new home for themselves, everything else was secondary.
Also the Horde didn’t just start fights with the Alliance and Night elves when they came to Kalimdor, They also killed off so many quillboar in durotar(the quillboars of kalimdors original home) and took it for themselves. Also brutally kill off the centuar to take back the barrens and thousand needles pushing them all the way back to desolace.
Jania and her people actively went to Kalimdor because of Medivh’s warning and to find out what was happening. She wasn’t actively looking for a new home in Kalimdor. Nor did her people go around killing wild gods, drinking demon blood and joining the legion. They Also setup shop in a mostly uninhabited swamp as to avoid conflict with the other races of kalimdor.
Instead, they joined up with the Order of the Dammed in creating poisoned grain that both slew their countrymen and raised them as Scourge.
