Gdkp is an investment.
You start buying a lot but you get pay outs.
Eventually you have most pieces and then you’re just collecting pay outs.
Find a static group on your server discord.
To start 10k is a decent number.
Min bid on upgrades so they don’t rot.
val’anyr is going for 100k min pre bid in my gdkp with a 15% down payment the week before ulduar releases.

bring 10k. You don’t need to spend that much but from my own experience on my alt I spend around 6-8k per run and I get back 5-6k so I get most of what I spend back. It’s a pretty good deal if you’re not looking to splurge on the top end pieces.
wild to me that naxx gear still goes for that much.
Its such an easy raid that you could easily just HR your own pug and clear the content no problem.
The value of gold has decreased greatly so the bids are higher. 4k now is like 2k back in tbc.

It’s just convenient to be able to buy multiple pieces with gold rather than rolling against other people or HR’ing a single item. For my alt I don’t really care about the absolute bis so just buying a bunch of stuff and breaking even with the cut is fine with me.
Don’t even bother. There are hundreds of pugs every week. Just get in one. You’ll get plenty of gear especially at this point.

See a lot of pugs break or not even make it to KT. Them things kinda scary. Find your self a guild to run with. Or join your servers biggest GDKP discord one that has MUTLI runs. Prices are normally a little higher in them cause the Min price is higher but pay outs are higher from it. Grab you some 2nd or 3rd bis items in most slots and teir at this point. Most times u can land a couple pieces and still make some gold from running it.
Not many break in my experience. Of course, I abandon ones that have people under 3.8k who aren’t shaman or priests and insta dip if they don’t do patch or Razuvious first. Guaranteed dip if it looks like or they do wipe on those. Don’t get locked to trash groups.
