I think it’ll last pretty much forever at this point. Blizzard can just repackage it and sell it another way.
Runescape just started working on officially hosted private servers. If World of Warcraft ever does reach maintenance mode, that can always be an option to let players continue enjoying the game.

That is no where enough time for as you say only playing for a few months.
Also,still a huge portion of us that have been around from practicle start seeing people say this dying for years and yet it’s still here.

Consider how long other MMOs have gone that are not as popular. It will be around for a long time.

C’mon OP, you can’t just leave it at that. You have to tell us exactly which short-sighted and petty demand/complaint will lead to the game dying if they don’t do what you want, like all the other “WoW is dying” threads over the last 20 years.

If Everquest is alive and well this long with its relatively crappy graphix and overbloated systems, WoW will never die unless civilization dies. Yes, I still play EQ1 cuz im a masochist…

5 to 10 years.
Unless something rocks the company behind it, as they’ve banked on mobile products being their focus.
I feel it would last longer if they consolidated a lot of the smaller servers.

WoW is dying, but the question is how fast. Main reason I would attribute is rising coke addiction in blizzard employees which are not being addressed in a fruitful manner. Toxic community with single digit IQ. ( i have literally never seen a dumber gaming community for real). These factors alone should be enough for dead game.
IQ is knwon to correlate with lifespan so if the player base has low IQ, they are likely to not live as long and are unable to support the game.
